md is one of those teams who doesnt put together a full game..they can look like trash for half the game then look like the no 1 team in the country...in the tourney they will need to be more focused and consisted and not having vazquez jack up 30 shots a game
if you have watched ANY college basketball this year then you should know that one team showing up in the first half, but not the second or vice versa has been the rule in CBB this year. I have seen more double digit leads blown this year and teams up 10-15 points and are outscored by 20 in the second half to make a blowout the other way. That's just been the way in cbb. I have seen a ton of posts on here every night saying,' wtf team X was up 16 points and now they are down 7', or something similar.
I don't think anyone is comparing the ACC to the Big East per se. I think he just mentioned that we don't have a guaranteed W in the league (ACC). But the Big East is by far better then the ACC at the top. The Big East at the top is about 4-5 teams.
I still don't see where Maryland is a Jekyl and Hyde team though. If you are talking inside a game, then yes RECENTLY we have been Jekyl and Hyde 1st half to 2nd half in a few games. But that's almost every college team this year. But to say they are the most by far he has ever seen is stretching it.
