A team coming off of a Covid pause has an additional 2.3 point disadvantage on average so far this season, in a normal tempo game.

The longer the pause, the greater the disadvantage.

14 day pause is worth about a 0.5 point disadvantage.
21 day: 2.3 points
28 day: 4.0 points

The long layoff’d COVID teams are only covering 42% of the time. 

Eddy’s great, again, just surprising this is basically ignored. What do you think is going to happen to an already pretty poor team that has barely practiced for 3 weeks going on the road to Rutgers as first game back. Rust and conditioning issues galore.

Thanks & I didn’t mean to come off as an asshole in that post even though it looks like I did. Real interested in Providence -3 @ GTown with GTown off the 3 week break. Butler +1 vs Xavier is another tho I’m liking the Providence game more.
