thats what i meant, in the same state but it's only 45 miles from their campus so more of an advantage

The game is in Sioux Falls instead of Brookings.  South Dakota State is currently observing Spring Break so it will not be filled with as many college kids as normal.  The die hards will be there but most of the people at this game will be people like myself who have no affiliation with South Dakota State (I am actually a University of South Dakota Coyote grad) but just like to watch good basketball.  It will be filled to near capacity and most will be cheering on State but it isn't your normal kind of "college atmoshpere" kind of crazy game.

As it relates to the total I don't mind your tired legs angle, but remember this game is set high for this reason.  If this game doesn't approach a 200 pace I will be surprised.  Neither of these teams plays defense and score in bunchs.  BOL on your play.

Well that weekend was pretty rough.  5-9 Sat. and Sunday .  Probably a good idea to lay off these

Here's what I got for today.


N. TEXAS PK (2U)

VCU +4.5 (1U)

WOFFORD PK (1U)

OAKLAND/S. DAKOTA ST UNDER 171 (1U) - I don't know if I've seen a total this high before, and I haven't played many totals this year as well.  Both teams can score and can put up big numbers, but one team needs to get to 90 for this to go over so I'm banking on no one getting there.  Oakland last played Saturday and SDST played yesterday, so we should see some tired legs and sluggish offense.

i'm just taking a shot that it's not played into the 90's...i know how well they both score and play little defense, but still need good shooting to get up there

Good luck! I am on Wofford for pretty large (my largest wager of the year). I like North Texas too.

I have a little on St Peters as well. I couldn't pull the trigger on VCU because they played so freaking good yesterday. I just can't see them playing that well again tonight. The talk of revenge doesn't matter to me because they split the season series. ODU is so tough to go against but I'm not playing it so good luck!

I dont see 3 CAA teams making the NCAAs,G.Mason should be in,but if OD loses tonight I dont see them getting an at-large bid,do you?

I have that Oakland total at 173,has to be the highest college total Ive ever seen.

I like them all except the under. These teams play at a pace of around 70 each game.. NCAA bball usually is played at about 60 or so. They both shoot 50% or better in almost every game, they play no defense and both teams average over 40% from downtown in conference play this year. Oakland is the better team and one of the best shooting teams in all of D1 behind the likes of Ohio St., St Mary's, Kansas, and SMU...all of which put up huge totals on a regular basis..the catch is that Oakland runs up and down all game with out slowing...SDS runs well too. I see Oakland coming close to 100 in this one and SDS not too far behind..low 90's i say.
