NO PLAYS ON
LA SALLE- Hate the fact how much better competition Cornell has played and the fact they own the A-10 ATS wise.
IOWA- Had no idea Tucker was out I like to stay away from games where injuries are a factor.
sad but true

good call on that nevada, i put them in my weeksaving parlay.
you shouldnt even respond to the western newyorker with 10 posts, hes an obvious syracuse homer, you dont even have a lean on the game anyways, so i dont know what his gripe is.
new mexico looks like a good lean to me, not really likin marquette though, would have to lean wvu there, lotta chalk tonight it looks.
if you end up taking isu i would probably tail you on that one.

A poster with more posts is a better capper?
I would rather know where the poster is from rather than the amount of posts. There is one poster with over 71000 posts and I have never read any posts from him/her because all they post are 4 leaf clovers. The more posts one has is relative to the spare time one may or may not have. A 16 year-old kid can have more posts than Marc Lawrence. It doesn't mean they are better at capping sports.

hey whats your thoughts on the sycamores? my initial thought was that southern ill -5.5 looks good. i think that line will climb throughout the day. would be interested to hear why you are leaning to isu. Im just not convinced on this years team.
thanks

ISU + is one of his early leans.

Why come on this thread and ask "UNC " what do you think of this game? what do you think of that game?
From what I see UNC checks the board caps early leans. then fully caps final plays. He is not fully capping every game I assume, so all other game requests are basically opinions.

Don't like betting against Duke at home unless they are playing against top notch competition...
Duke homer here - couple of thoughts for ya:
* Duke is coming off of a 10-day layoff post-Gonzaga that includes finals and Christmas. Long Beach has been active and gave Kentucky a good run for 30 minutes in Lexington last week.
* Duke students are still on break - meaning that the Arena will be relatively quiet and lifeless tonight.
* I don't know about their overall athleticism, but Long Beach doesn't have a regular over 6'8" while Duke can throw 6 guys out that are 6'8" or bigger.
* Add it up - I look for a very sluggish start for the Devils, with LBSU to be within 10-12 at half time. Duke pulls away late, but it's going to be ugly.
* I think the line and total reflect this thinking already; but if I had to recommend a play it would be LBSU for the game and the under.
Good Luck to All

Not sure why this line has jumped but my guess it is due to the death of a family member of one of the players of SIU. Seeing that this has become a no play for me. This was either ISU or no play for me. As they have been one of the best road ATS teams in last year or 2. This is probably one of the most critical games for us to start the conf. Because coming up on deck we have CRE. We have to steal one of them I feel a lot amore comfortable that SIU is the one we can get. I think CRE will play a spoiler for us in the home opener of us for conf. SIU does not defend the 3 well and surprisingly we are the better the rebounding 2 areas that if we hold the upper hand we are tough to beat.
Here is another concern. Yesterdays practice was the worst in a long time from my understanding. Everyone appeared sluggish and lazy. In result Jordan Printy who is one hell of a spark off the bench for us was not paying attention and caught a ball to the face. Eye is swollen shut and appears to be a no go as no one has seen him yet today.
I dont like the fact SIU has had this much time to prepare for us. If we are not shooting the J well this will end in a hurry but our ability to get to the basket with or slew of guards could change the complexition of this game just like it did last year. I really want to play ISU but I cant with the reasons above.
Although I do see a ton of value now in the under...

I love that someone where they are from always matters. Just like I know UNC has got it, people like us get called "bandwagon" fans and crap like that cause you can't possible that you where from that state or went to school there? I think both of us know more history and angles on the Heels than half the people in NC.
Like last yr's tourney, I wanted to throw my computer. Appearently only people in the North east go to school in a different state I guess.

NO PLAY ON ILL ST AND THIS IS JUST ENOUGH TO TAKE ME OFF...
FOR VALLEY OPENERS
Until the Tim Jankovich-era, opening the conference season had been a rough proposition for the Redbirds. Prior to victories in each of the two conference openers under Jankovich, ISU had lost eight-straight conference openers. Since joining the Valley in 1981-82, the Redbirds are 13-15 in league openers.

While I am not sure if I am going to be on the Birds or not (leaning yes), the Jankovich era is completely different from the previous 8 years. The Moser and Richardson years were terrible and should not be really used at all in terms of this years team...

1ST PLAY
CRE -1 (30U)
2 very experienced teams here. But i dont see anyone that has prepared NIU on there schedule for conf play. CRE has been all over the country playing some good teams so far this season. It should only boost help for tonight contest.
CRE offensive and defensive numbers are a lot better than they appear and it should show tonight. CRE loves to get out and run and they use there defense to do so. While UNI struggles to score but take high percentage shots. If they have a off night they will struggle and I can easily see that happening tonight. There is nothing stellar about UNI D they just use the shot clock and it has frustrated bad offensive teams. Well tonight CRE is not a bad offensive team and they will put the screws to UNI.
Not worried about the long layoff here as I get the best coach in the MVC with a ton of time to prepare.

Conference Openers Have Gone Well
Creighton coach Dana Altman is 11-4 in Missouri Valley Conference openers, including a 9-2 record in the last 11 years.
Altman is 12-3 in Creighton’s first home game of the MVC slate and his clubs have won 10 of its last 11 games that opened conference play at home.

Last season UNI came into Omaha and snapped a string of 12 straight losses at Creighton. Big revenge here

I'm liking Rhode Island here -3.5 at Drexel...Drexel struggles scoring and Rhode Island plays the Calipari DDM offense getting to the rack and open 3's.
Air Force - getting 21.5 here? Are you kidding me? 3-0 ats vs double digit #'s this year. another uptempo squad here for them to frustrate with their Princeton offense.
Any opinions UNC on these?
