Trying out a new 2nd Half system as well... worked for me a few days ago with Nebraska over USC.

Princeton +9 2H -110.

San Jose St +8.5 2H -104

Overall: 24-10-2

Went 5-3-2 last night including a ML win for Creighton and 3-1 on 2H plays.

Two plays to start off the day:

Purdue -3.5 vs. Iona -110: Iona is one of the better mid majors, but Purdue is no slouch. Mid majors can do well against big boys, but when a big squad like Purdue can shoot the basketball like they have to start the season, it doesn't bode well for the upset special.

Texas A&M -4.5 vs. Miss St -110: This line just makes me scratch my head. A&M is a top 20 team in the country. Meanwhile, Miss St. continues to be overrated as witnessed by their 10 point loss at home to MAC upstarts Akron. A&M should dominate this game and win by 10-12 points.

Will be looking at a couple other plays and if any 2H opportunities present themselves, I'll have those as well.

Adding a total...

Temple / West. Michigan Under 135 -110: Temple barely hit 140 in an overtime game the other day. Returning one of their top defenders... think this game stays low.

St. Joes -2.5 -110: Ga Tech is bad and without their top player for this matchup due to suspension. Joe's impressed me with their start to the season. Like them to win by 8-10 points.

LSU 2H +6.5 -105: Really like how LSU is playing. Northwestern having all sorts of issues with LSU's athletes.

VCU -3 2H -110: Shot 20% in the 1st half and are still within striking distance. If Pope gets in foul trouble, Pirates are very thin in the post.

Overall: 26-17-2

2H plays did not come through yesterday... on to today.

Drake +6.5 vs Ole Miss: Really feel Drake can win this game outright. Dangerous team from a good conference. What has Ole Miss done to be favored by 3 possessions?

New Mexico -4.5 vs. Arizona St: NM is much better than what they showed last night.

Akron -1 @ Valpo: Interesting mid major game. Akron has the big win at Miss St. and I think they continue to show they are a force to be dealt with on the mid major level.

Arizona -5.5 vs. Miss St: Texas A&M made Miss St. look good yesterday. Zona beat a decent St. John's team at the Garden. Think Zona runs away with this one.

Purdue -1.5 vs Temple: Think R. Hummel is the difference in this one. If it's close, he takes over and gets Purdue the W.

A positive day as New Mexico eeked out a 5 point win.

Doesn't look like a great slate of games, but need to do some research.

I know Louisville is banged up, but I really like them in this spot. Butler is a public team, but they have nowhere near the talent they have had in previous years.

Long Beach St. ML +130 ... Was very impressed with their win at Pitt. SD State. will struggle to keep pace with this team... and LB State gets the W pushing them into the Top 25 next week.

One play tonight...

Alabama -2.5: Love the Crimson Tide defense in this one to contain Hummel. Bama definitely one of the surprise upstarts this season.

Easy winner last night with Alabama as Purdue's inability to score made Bama a double digit victor.

Texas -2.5 vs NC State: Texas has one of the better players in the country in Kybongo. NC State nearly lost to Princeton. Texas is the much more athletic team and should be able to beat NC State by more than a possession.

Detroit -5.5 vs George Washington: GW got killed by a pretty good Cal team. Detroit gave an excellent home team in Notre Dame all they can handle. Detroit has solid veteran play and should be able to get to the line in this one for some free points to ensure the over.
