Neil, Don't let the negative comments get to you. At last look you were up 25 units.   Very solid year so far in the CBB. The guys that are bashing are the ones who want instant winnings and want to win everyday.   The quick strikers, the ones the bookies love.  Down they will chase, lose one day, bet bigger the next.  Have 3 losing days in a row, their done, won't see them again the rest of the season.   Keep up the steady great work, I have been betting for 25 years, had my good years and had my bad years, but I have never bet more than I could afford to lose and never bet over my head and never chased.   Look forward to your write ups the rest of the year.

neil-- i go back reading your thoughts on basketball to the days when the really good guys were always bantering on wagerline-- pidi, yourself, da dennis and a host of other really good guys. i grew to respect your thoughts on basketball ( you were very good on football as well ), because you actually played this game at a very high level and understood that things happen that can never be analyzed in team sports.i have been there done that, been booed by fans that had no clue why i threw an interception becaus a receiver broke a route. or protection broke down on 3rd and 8 and you guessed wrong at what the receiver was going to see. so, just keep on keeping on because as you say this is a marathon-- not a sprint.do you know whatever happened to pidi?

Since seriously-regressing NIU (0-8 in MVC) has been clearly unable to supplant its (3) top graduated scorers instrumental in posting (3) straight 20+ win campaigns, will suggest SIU contingent back to full strength with return of 6-9 soph C Gene Teague (missed 5 games), who played only (10) minutes due to a lingering ankle injury in earlier (63-59) win vs. the Redbirds. Salukis' 6-8 sr. F Carlton Fay licking his chops after pouring in (33) pts. in first meeting, so look for offensively-feckless ISU (miserable 29% from arc) to continue its money-burning ways (5-12-1 vs. spread TY). I like this pick by NROPP
