decent start with a win. Had to go with the under in the Bradly game because I got the line at 132. Thought that would be a big differnce. Hope it dont hurt me.

Lucky win. I believe kenpom had Wisconsin at a 1.7 point per possession in the 1H, which was the largest # of the season. Halfway through the 2H, they were at a 1.76.
To put that in perspective, they finished at a 1.50. Top game of the year came in at 1.53 (which also was Wisconsin, LOL).

What did you take away from ILL/OSU game yesterday.
Watched every Buckeye game this year.
Lot of weapons, what are your thoughts on them taking the title.
Senior leadership, Beast in the middle, 3 balllers.
What are their weaknesses, if any?
Thinking about a wager on them to take it all.
Scary to think what the Illinois result would have been with a little scoring from the guards. McCamey played his worst game of the year, with much credit to the way they defended him.
As for the game, it really came down to the guards. Prior, I had pointed out two keys to them staying competitive.
1) They needed to run. They did, they built a 50-42 lead and for some reason stopped. They became extremely complacent. They had 7 possessions in a row where they did not run, did not get a shot off before 10 seconds left in the clock, or turned the ball over.
2) Jereme Richmond. He's the best player on the team, and he's not in the starting lineup. I fully expect that to change. He could realistically do anything he wanted at any point in the game.
As for the game as a whole, they've showed they're good enough to compete. It's an entirely different ballgame if the guards show up, but again, it's a great credit to the OSU defense and how they defend. As for OSU moving forward, the fact that the Illini scored so much on the inside shows a glaring weakness. OSU not having a true PG may hurt them down the stretch. I emphasize may, b/c it may not hurt them. They shoot well enough from all of the other spots that it doesn't really come into play in this conference.
All in all, it was a disappointment and a relief. The interior guys showed up, the guards didn't. The team relies on the outside shot to win, even when the bigs play well.
