Miami peed their pants almost as bad as UVA did yesterday. Most overrated team in the country? UNC.
2 Top 25 wins, both at home, yippie
aye bro dont hate if they were overrated they would have rolled over and lost... these boys have heart...
they may be the most talented team in the country they are just very green.. if they core of this team stays together they will be a force in a year or 2 two... their best players (henson, barnes, marshall) are all underclassmen

Ranked #1 in the country in rebounds
Ranked #20 in the country in PPG
They lost only 2 away games in the ACC this year and one of those to Duke, where UNC held the lead most of the game. Even though they are a team full of Freshmen and sophomores, they will continue to dominate under one of the best coaches in college basketball

The ACC is garbage this year, congrats on beating BC, Yale did it too.
UNC has 2 good wins this year, both at home to teams who could not beat a good team on the road if their life depended on it.
Racking up stats and wins in a bad conference does not impress me.

Hey ETSUBUCS, you talk about how you held a lead at duke at half but lost the game...isnt that exactly what just happened with miami today. I think miami held lead at half by 9 and then extending that lead to 19 early in 2nd half. stop pumping up unc ego. if they play similar to that against any other team in the tourny, go ahead and start warming the car.

Guys dont even bother with 7774, its a just a bitter bettor who lost money on the Tar Heels today.
On a positive note, this team is so talented and plays with so much heart. That dook loss with a 14 pt blown lead fired this team up and it has shown. After a (not surprising, considering the loss of talent from the title team) down year last year, the Heels are playing with a swagger again. Lost the wear twins, will graves, and ld2 (and his parents) and everyone counted them out. It has been such a sweet ride back to the top. Henson is DPOY in the ACC and probably the nation. Zeller is finally healthy and is a force down low. Barnes has awoken and carried this team on his back. Marshall has played like a seasoned veteran and is one of the top pg's in the country.
I kinda disagree with what 2-Team-Parlay said. Yes, this team is gonna be scary good next year assuming they stay together...however theyre alreayd a force now. No one is expecting a national title this year but all we need is a deep tourney run to give this team the experience that can push this team over the top next year (just like 08 set up the 09 run)

we agree i think they will b a force come tourny time... like u said the loss to duke lit a fire under their ass and they have been playing a lot better since then.. and the comeback win today shows even though they are a young team have heart and wont lay down...
and programs like unc always have players ready to step up.. if they lose their top players they just reload the next year

They don't really care about the ACC tourney, so don't be surprised if they don't cover the rest of the games. Roy Williams is right, the ACC tournament is a "cocktail party", it doesn't really mean anything to them. They have matured significantly as a team as the season has gone on. Harrison Barnes broke out of his shell, and Marshall is starting to step up and take control. They are going to be dangerous come tournament time.
And graham....you're a moron

i love how you keep saying their overrated, how so?
They've won 17 of 19.....by an AVERAGE of 15 points. They went 14-2 and won the ACC regular season.
Lost by 5 on a NEUTRAL court to Minnesota (who started 12-1 and was a top 15 team if i recall until the Mbakwe problems began)
Lost to Vandy by 7 on a NEUTRAL court (another top 25 team)
Lost by 12 AT illinois (another ranked team at the time, #11)
Lost by 2 to Texas on a NEUTRAL court (a top 10 team on a shot with 2 seconds left)
Lost at #4 dook by 6 (thanks in large parts to convenient foul trouble on henson and zeller after a dominant first half)
Their only bad loss is at georgia tech by 20. BUT that was all with larry drew starting. Since Kendall Marshall has taken over, this a NEW team. 13-1 with Marshall as a starter....avg margin of victory is 12....with wins at fsu, home vs fsu by 20, home vs dook by 14, at bc by 32, home vs clemson by 10 and home again vs bc....all tourney teams for an avg margin of victory of nearly 14. Combine that with a win over kentucky.
#6 in the RPI, #9 SOS, #1 in the nation in rebounds. Top 25 in scoring, assists, and blocks .....not bad for a team whos 7 man rotation consists of ONE junior, 3 sophs and 3 freshman.
Yup, that clearly is overrated. Good call.
