i love how you keep saying their overrated, how so?

They've won 17 of 19.....by an AVERAGE of 15 points. They went 14-2 and won the ACC regular season.

Lost by 5 on a NEUTRAL court to Minnesota (who started 12-1 and was a top 15 team if i recall until the Mbakwe problems began)

Lost to Vandy by 7 on a NEUTRAL court (another top 25 team)

Lost by 12 AT illinois (another ranked team at the time, #11)

Lost by 2 to Texas on a NEUTRAL court (a top 10 team on a shot with 2 seconds left)

Lost at #4 dook by 6 (thanks in large parts to convenient foul trouble on henson and zeller after a dominant first half)

Their only bad loss is at georgia tech by 20. BUT that was all with larry drew starting. Since Kendall Marshall has taken over, this a NEW team. 13-1 with Marshall as a starter....avg margin of victory is 12....with wins at fsu, home vs fsu by 20, home vs dook by 14, at bc by 32, home vs clemson by 10 and home again vs bc....all tourney teams for an avg margin of victory of nearly 14. Combine that with a win over kentucky.

#6 in the RPI, #9 SOS, #1 in the nation in rebounds. Top 25 in scoring, assists, and blocks .....not bad for a team whos 7 man rotation consists of ONE junior, 3 sophs and 3 freshman.

but i agree, I love Carolina but when it comes to betting I try to stay away from them the most part. I refuse to ever bet on them and will only occasionally bet against them. I get worked up enough just watching them play any game, no need to have money on the line to make it worse haha

oh you mean the losses that occured in NOVEMBER and DECEMBER? let me help you out, its MARCH. this is a COMPETELY different team. IF you ever watched any of those games you would know that the reason they struggled early on was all on drew. He is a horrible leader and wasnt deserving, except his dad (the atl hawks coach) would bitch and moan to roy and threatened to transfer him. The little quitter didnt have hte guts to even tell roy he was leaving but rather let his daddy and mommy tell him. Meanwhile, as a I wrote, Kendall Marshall took over and this team is a new team. THey look nothing like they did in the first 15 games. THe offense is sooooo much smoother is more of what it has been in the past with Lawson and Felton at the helm.

Care to stop living in the past and start living in the present? cause if you did you might notice that UNC has transformed a highly disappointing season into a possibly very special season....and as 2-Team Parlay mentioned....with ONLY 1 junior, and 6 underclassmen. Have you ever followed college sports before? Its a little thing called adjusting to the style and level of play. Clearly UNC has done that and are prepared for March. The whole point of playing a top 10 SOS is to get the team ready for March. Losing by 2 pts to Texas, 6 to dook, and 12 to illinois on the road is all learning experiences for kids who a few months earlier were playing high school basketball.
