UNC is a team that has been dicey on the road losing to Texas and Northern Iowa away. Other than that they have been solid dominating the paint on rebounds, scoring and interior defense. Where the Heels struggle is with perimeter defense ranking near the bottom on 3p fg% against. However I do not feel that this will be a problem against the young Seminoles as Florida St is lousy at shooting 3 pointers relying on scoring inside and creating turnovers. This plays into North Carolina's strengths as they are very good in protecting the basketball and protecting the paint. I just do not see inexperienced Florida St having any matches to exploit here and I feel comfortable laying the 3 points on the road with the Tar Heels.

Oklahoma has been super solid this year behind the outstanding play of probably College Basketball's most efficient player Buddy Hield. Oklahoma gets it done with solid interior and perimeter defense and outstanding 3 point shooting, 2nd in the nation in that department and they are very disciplined in not over fouling opponents. Defensively though they do not create many turnovers.  

Kansas on the other hand has been simply amazing! They are very efficient offensively inside and outside and do a great job in creating turnovers to push the fast break. They have very limited weaknesses in their game if any. The one kink in their game is they can be beat on the perimeter if a good 3 point shooting team faces them exemplified in their loss to Michigan St and close games to Harvard and Vanderbilt. 

In this game I see Kansas being just too tough for Oklahoma. Oklahoma yes is an awesome 3 point shooting team but they play at a high tempo and unfortunately you cannot run and gun with the Jayhawks they are the best in the business in that. The Sooners just aren't efficient enough inside to hang. The teams Kansas had a hard time with slow downed the game and limited the Jayhawks possessions. Oklahoma is just not built like that. Kansas will be able to create some steals here and that should be enough to get the cover and a 10 plus point win at home.

again, zero factual analysis outside of what you "see" lol...so you have imagined in your head how these games will play out huh? Picking the two tv games which are easiest to look at. cmon man, either come up with some real insight and info and data or just say hey guys, i have no clue but here is who i like

Babaganoosh: You truly enjoy bashing huh? Why don't you try analyzing some games subscribe to a site like I do and offer some positive criticism as oppose to just flat out bashing without any supporting evidence. You offer nothing to this site.

Just curious as to what your posted record is here or at any other forum. Most likely none. Which means that you either work for a book and your job is simply to come into forums to disrupt them (had a buddy of mine do that for a while) or you have the emotional and mental maturity of a 5 year old. I would say an 8 year old but I have an 8 year old and he comes across as far more mature than you

Kansas doesn't have the best record vs top 25 teams , Oklahoma seems to rise to the occasion playing ranked teams. I took the points on OU . Same side on UNC

like Kansas but not NC because I don't like giving points on the road to decent teams.

Agree with UNC. Seen some people on the CrimiNOLES, but they are super average and played jus as recently as UNC and lost to Clemson. If UNC is any good, they will win this game by a couple buckets

im on FSU and WV. How's that? And ya think cause he reads from a site that we ALL can read from and doles out "info" like that, that it's worth following? Sorry I just dont. These long writeups that amount to nothing but basic 101 stats and then his opinion on how he "sees" it isnt me bashing at all. It just isnt credible. Sorry. Not being mean. But if you guys follow, good luck. But when things go bad, you'll back and say, why did I follow anyone who just said what he THOUGHT would happen

Kansas 13-0 Lifetime at home vs OU.. covering 7 is different story..

I never said I wanted people to follow me. Thats what you don't understand. I post a pick I like and I provide my analysis why I believe its a good pick. If people want to offer me a reason why they believe its not a good pick I would love to hear it. Maybe it can help me to change my mind. Im not proclaiming to be the man or whatever. I'm an average joe just like everyone else on here thats trying to make a buck.

HERMES said that the Heels struggle defending the 3 ball as their opponent 3% percentage is high, ranking UNC poorly.

He also said that FSU likes to go inside and is not a great 3 pt shooting team.

 

Nothing personal HERMES, but I don't know if that's true or not. I've learned not to trust people on covers. I do my own research on stats people post to see if it backs up.

 

BUT ASSUMING this is true,

 

how is that not handicapping?

that is exactly handicapping.

Unc biggest weakness is defending the 3 ball. That's how Uni beat them with the 3 and FlaSt shoots at about 32%.
