Wednesday 2/15 CBB Plays

JFen, interested to hear your take on tonight's Temple@SBU matchup... I know that you faded SBU not too long ago against UMASS because they are prone to turn the ball over a lot. Do you stick with that theory and continue to fade SBU or do you side with the home team in this A-10 meeting? I know you consider yourself more of a situational capper so if there's anything you can point out to keep me from hammering Temple I would appreciate your knowledge. BOL tonight man

BOL tonite as I am on Illinois as well. Weber had something going with Leonard against Mich early in that game and never went back to it. Two easy baskets right away then some sloopy play and Leonard gets a few fouls and that was that. He could have a nice night tonite if he doesnt get into foul trouble. Illinois needs that mismatch to create some open shots as nobody is shooting well lately. Purdue does play poor defense away and Illinois is much better at home a large comparison there and that should be a factor as well.

I know you wont like this play but I played under N.W. Indiana 148. Hoping N.W. somehow keeps it close and runs a slower tempo. I saw it happen at Minny and Purdue so we will see. BOL if you decide to play any others.

Yup, that was a really bad matchup for the Bonnies. Very different story tonight as Temple does not press or trap but plays a very sound and principled halfcourt man-to-man D. Lone concern with the Owls is a hangover from the win Saturday night against Xavier in front of the largest crowd in the history of the Liacouras Center. Trecking up to Olean, one of the most depressing places ever, is always a tall task. Still, I think they get it done in a tight game as either Moore or Wyatt takes over late.

Gutsy on that under. I fear NW getting pounded inside by Zeller/Watford but raining triples on the offensive end. It is possible, though, that Indiana has some issues with the 1-3-1 and is forced to burn a lot of time on each possession. Good luck with the play and hopefully we get the effort we expect out of Illinois tonight.

The SMU under was brilliant...the mustangs only scored 12 points in the first half...that's really hard to do with a shot clock!

Should've left Nova alone without a clear indication on Malik. The sources I cited are typically very reliable and have the best beat in the city. Live and learn.

smu was 1 for 17 from the 3 pt line in the 1st half, but yet still managed to chuck up 22 more in the 2nd half ..u would think they would stop settling

Weird night for you JFen. I tailed on Carolina, Illinios, and New Mexico. I was really shocked to see Illinois come out flat like that at home tonight. I really didn't think it was a bad play at all. Sometimes this shit happens.
