Neil - A couple totals Im curious on your thoughts. WFU-UVA 119. I like the over here. I think there's an outside chance Wake baits VA into a quicker pace...just a tad. Wake's D is awful and I think Wake tries to push the ball inside and cause some foul trouble with VA's bigs.
Toledo-Ohio. Total 136...seems like the over is the play...these teams both seem to push the tempo...and throw up alot of 3's...Im thinking each team puts up at total of 40 3's and i think it goes way over.
Your take?
Yah, you know my thoughts on the Virginia total. I don't view Wake Forest all that different than Boston College. A bit faster, but lesser of defense. Same situation as that Virginia/BC game that didn't pan out. So I'm staying away here.
Ohio should get quite a few three's up against the Toledo zone, and you're right, the game should have a nice tempo to it. Concern would be Ohio's defense. They good. Would point over, though.

Whats your take on Tennessee -7 @ home vs s. caro? Tenn seems to play very well @ home. Might go big on the $line.
I can't figure South Carolina out for the life of me. Tough game. Tennessee getting up for Uconn or Kentucky to come in is a bit easier than getting up for South Carolina.

hey bud. was thinking of locking in Northeastern + 9 but wanted to get your expert opinion on the game first. Thanks!
I think you're safe. I have no confidence in the Georgia State offense to put up points. Little concern coming off VCU defense, but similar pressure to what they'll see here tonight. Should be a dogfight.

If you're playing the Beilein is 6-0 after losses, do you factor in KU hasn't lost consecutive games in 6 years. Different KU team, down year, but also played in the toughest environment they'll face all year against Missouri and controlled the game minus the last 2 minutes. Up 8 at Missouri, they should've finished that game. Baylor, outside of TTech, may have the worst home court advantage in the Big 12 even though they've completely turned the program around. Should be a good game, neither team can afford to lose this one. Drew really needs to teach these athletes to play man instead of this zone. They're a lazy team and have a tendency to be soft, and the zone only encourages/magnifies that. I'd love to see how much better this Baylor team would be with Izzo, coach k, etc coaching them.

Excellent call on Evansville, just wish I hadn't locked in Creighton before your post!!
Curious what you think about Tulsa on the road. They seem to have found some chemistry finally.
Always a fan, will have your Twitter page up when I'm in Vegas for the tourney!
Tough game. Tulsa usually has a size advantage, but it's not so glaring in this match-up. UTEP's been awfully close to having a much better record than what it indicates. They just haven't got over the hump it seems and haven't been able to close out ball games. Interesting part is that Tulsa's win streak started with this UTEP win. Always tough to win on the road, especially against revenge, but this is just a tough game.

Slight difference in analyzing some angles from this year with current players and analyzing angles from prior years.
Six year trend concerns me, but if you look at the teams they've played coming off a loss in prior seasons, you'll see why the trend is present (teams aren't all that great and generally have come at home or in neutral settings).
2012
Georgetown (neutral)
FAU (home)
USC (turrrrrrrrrible Charles Barkley voice)
Oklahoma (home)
2011
Colorado (home and away)
2010
Nebraska (turrible away)
Kansas State (home)
2009
Coppin State (home)
Temple (home)
Albany (home)
Kansas State (away) - I will give you this one
Texas (home)
etc...

Wow you have alot of fans nice work man. I figure I might as well ask since your the expert any thoughts on Memphis?
Think Memphis is definitely better match-up wise, but not sure I'd lay the chalk. ECU's been on a roll as of late (haven't really beaten anybody though). Curious to see how Memphis responds to hitting the road after playing a few very emotional ballgames recently.

Think you're safe. Scary, but safe. Alluded to Mason and Miami OH above.
Only concern with Drexel is if JMU can force the tempo to be a lot faster than what they want to play it at. Weird these two haven't played each other yet this year.

Thanks again for talking me out of this teaser. Miami Ohio lost! When u said "scary but safe" I decided not to go with it since I don't like scary when it comes to my plays!!
I took George Mason/Syracuse/Wichita State/Drexel/Central Florida/Delware money line parlay instead and hit it! Thanks again. U have talked me out of so many bad plays, i can't thank you enough.

if its the latter maybe you can be more efficient in your time management and help NROPP recover.
I don't get what you mean? I have suggested to him not to try and cover the whole country but just some select conferences which might give him more time and not be so demanding.
