Bridgewater may put 60 up on OH defense with rec corps.
Lou has a stable of RB's that may run all over OH D.
OHIO is capable of making a game of it, but do not compare PSU 2012 season opener to 2013 Louisville squad...worlds apart!
The only question marks for Louisville are the right O line and Strongs ability to coach/play call...21 is a good number and the speed of Louisville will hurt a much slower, but better coached OH team.
Hope this sheds some light on why the pub loves Lou...I am still looking at my own angles....Good luck!

Such a great post
It's never a trap. It's just sometimes we all forget to see the merits of the other side.

Play the Cardinals as long as this numbers stays 21 or below, any higher would switch to Ohio. Coach Strong can't just win games this season he must lead Louisville to impessive blowouts or risk being left out of a BCS Bowl. Cardinals will punish the Tettleton as the OU offensive line can't stop the big fast pass rush of Louisville. Final Score Prediction, Louisville Cardinals win 49-27.
LOL, talk about copy and paste.

spreads 21 have them win by 22 and its a Louisville will for sure cover. If i'm taking a 21 point spread i want my model to have a 3-6 point cushion not a 1 point cushion.

ohio was 7-0 last year before being riddled with injuries on the offensive and defensive line.
louisville is good, BUT they were a few bad breaks away from being 7-5 and playing in the liberty bowl. remember, they were 15 point dogs to florida and blew them out badly, and i feel this line is severe overreaction to that sugar bowl game.
could louisville win 44-7? sure. could they win 34-31? sure.
i just think the smashmouth style of ohio will keep this game close. ohio is loaded with seniors that are very experienced. they have a great RB in beau blankenship, and good dual threat QB in tyler tettleton. they are well coached by solich, and one other thing.
what if louisville would have been blown out by florida. lets say 52-17. would we be hyping them? would they be ranked in the T10? would they be 21pt faves? ill answer that...NO, No, and No way.
i think its public overreaction, book overreaction, espn overreaction.
i think this line should be -11. no more, no less.
i think ohio hangs.
we learned time and time again LY that louisville should NOT be a double digit fave, or a DD dogg,
ive been wrong before, and ill be wrong again, but ill have to pay to see louisville win a game by 21+ vs a very salty ohio squad.

Ohio get 21 because they are suck. If they are a better team this line should only 14
they are getting 21 because louisville beat an overhyped florida team and smashed them in the mouth...200 days ago.
they are getting 21 beause they were 8-4 last year, but people forget that they were 7-0 and butt pounded everyone they played before being DECIMATED with injuries.
injury list for week 1 looks low. this game SHOULD be close.

Louisville is coming off a bcs bowl win vs Florida ( 11-1) and returns almost whole entire team. Louisville was only team to ever win a bcs game and have 0 players drafted to NFL. Teddy is the real deal, Ohio +21 backers will find out the hard way. Tune up game for teddy and cards. 56-20 Louisiville

if louisville was so good, why did they lose to Syracuse by 20?
why did they:
beat UNC by only 5?
beat Southern miss by only 4?
beat So. Florida by only 2?
beat cincy by only 3?
LOSE outright to Uconn?
beat rutgers by only 3?
no indication was given that this team should be favored over anyone by 21. they even only beat missouri state last year by 24...this is public overreaction if i have ever seen it.
ANYONE of those close games become a loss, and louisville doesnt win their conference (which by the way was absolutely garbage last year) they are playing in the liberty bowl and are ranked 22 to start the year.
even you guys can admit some overreaction here.

They lost to Uconn because almost all of the bread was on them.. It really does seem to be as simple as that.
No its not as simple as that, bread on teams does not affect the outcome of the game. Execution and talent level is what its all about. Everyone claims louisville is ahead of Ohio talent wise, that may be true but they need to execute. A guy like Dyer would have helped them out big in some of those losses last year, but is Dyer a guy that can be relied on. All signs point to Louisville going undefeated by basically everyone, they have some lofty expectations and i'm interested to see if they can handle the pressure.
