Who said anything about him lining up to win the Hiesman? He's the best overall QB. Arm, Accuarcy, and reading defenses, but he just don't run around like other college qbs. No doubt he will torch ohios defense. Even if you don't think he's the best, you can't argue he's not elite, and that's why -21. Elite Qb vs a MAC defense
I'll call him elite when he proves hes elite, garbage conference, shitty opponents can make anyone seem elite. Hes had issues with protecting the ball. 2012 could have been an abnormal season for him who knows, maybe it is the norm, but i've seen nothing in his history so far that suggests 2012 was anything but taking advantage of weak behind opponents.

if you need anymore proof, ill screenshot my betting ticket.
the spread wont come into question in my opinion...
My thoughts on this game are irrelevant at his point, iOH is a tough first game for anyone....BUT...
Your record is 100% independent to the outcome of this game, haha...Great job, though, you're on fire!!!
So between all the statistical analysis, your " behind pounding references " and your current record all have no business into what is about to happen over the next three hours...
People, pick your angle on the game and go with it...take the points given or give them...but do not blame if you follow!
Should be a fun game to watch...Best of luck and hope everyone middle the books!

ohio was 7-0 last year before being riddled with injuries on the offensive and defensive line.
louisville is good, BUT they were a few bad breaks away from being 7-5 and playing in the liberty bowl. remember, they were 15 point dogs to florida and blew them out badly, and i feel this line is severe overreaction to that sugar bowl game.
could louisville win 44-7? sure. could they win 34-31? sure.
i just think the smashmouth style of ohio will keep this game close. ohio is loaded with seniors that are very experienced. they have a great RB in beau blankenship, and good dual threat QB in tyler tettleton. they are well coached by solich, and one other thing.
what if louisville would have been blown out by florida. lets say 52-17. would we be hyping them? would they be ranked in the T10? would they be 21pt faves? ill answer that...NO, No, and No way.
i think its public overreaction, book overreaction, espn overreaction.
i think this line should be -11. no more, no less.
i think ohio hangs.
we learned time and time again LY that louisville should NOT be a double digit fave, or a DD dogg,
ive been wrong before, and ill be wrong again, but ill have to pay to see louisville win a game by 21+ vs a very salty ohio squad.
great post, I ended up playing it.........this is not looking good so far
My only concern was louisville CAN dominate if the WANT to.....perhaps they feel asleep during the garbage conference last year.....they did dominate kentuck in dominate fashion to open and struggled vs similar opponents rest of year.......opening game they might be looking to show up and exercise their talent
But let's hope Ohio and Tettleton can ball up and stop playing like littleton boys

JLisback my opinion might change if we saw him drop back and attempt 25-30 passes per game and he maintained similar stats to other elite qbs who have the same attempts/ completions and qb ratings

Also the logic that Louisville played poor in the regular season last year means Florida should of kicked their arse.......Bill Parcells says u are what ur record and scores say u are
I think Louisville could be all motivational of when they want to play
This team can be a team that wins every game by 20 points this year if they so choose to do so
Let's go Bobcats
