Saban complains about the offense at almost every post-game press conference. Heck, he was complaining about it at the halftime North Texas interview. He constantly says the offense needs to be more explosive, and needs to make more big plays. So Saban wants it to happen, and Bama definitely has the weapons to make it happen. The problem is it almost never happens. Why? At some point the offensive coordinator has to be held accountable for the lack of offensive production.
True Saban wants more...
The way i look at it is any team that plays Alabama plays harder then they do against other teams. If you want to be in some highlights beat Alabama.
To beat Alabama is like being No1 for a day, and depending on the team it most likely puts you're team in a BCS bowl game. Teams bring extra mojoe for a few hours its like playing teams on cocaine.
Bottom line is if a player was part of a team that beat Alabama they will brag to their grandkids about it someday.

Imagine what it has been like watching teams play the Gators for 20 years.

Just want to let you know I am from AR and used to play at AR....we may lose to bama but there is no way they beat us more then 12. We even have a chance of winning the game. I am just trying to warn you don't bet what you don't mind loosing!! Last week we had 5 starters sitting the bench that never even played. They should all be back by Bama! Plus Dennis Johnson will play a huge role this week. Watch out this week!

Arkansas played flat against Troy, call it looking ahead, playing conservative or playing with out three of their best players. They were flat. They won't be this week. Arkansas played a very dumb game last year while losing to Bama. They won't do that either. It will be a close game but I see Arkansas winning this one outright.

I agree 100%. For Bama to have a chance of covering this spread they'll need to hold Arky to 10 points or less, because I don't think Alabama's offense is capable of scoring higher than the mid 20s on Arky's defense. I think a best case scenario for Alabama is a 24-13 type of score, but even that would not be enough to cover the spread. This game will be close, and although I don't think Arky will win the game, they certainly are capable of doing so.

Jimmy, I enjoy reading your take on games, especially SEC related. I am a hog fan through and through, and I know its hard to look at your own team objectively.
I respect Alabama more than anyone else in the country, and I look at this game as our measuring stick for the rest of the season year in and year out. History has shown that the winner of this game usually goes on to have a good season, where the loser ends up having a disappointing one.
I think this is the best Bama D we have seen, but I also think it might be one of the worst offensively. On the other hand, we might have one of our best O's and D's. Thats why I think we have a good shot. Will we win? Doubtful. Its just so hard to go on the road and win in the SEC.
Good luck, and here's to a good game sir.

We all know ur a homer tappy! Ark has one of the best passing game in the country. If ya look back Wilson was the #3 rated qb in the country out of high school and we will be able to score without knile Davis. Last year against this same defense we moved the ball at will and if not for 1 interception while trying to throw the ball out of bounds y'all would have lost the game. Shit happens and ya can always say that in each game, but if the hogs are able to stop the running game or just slow it down then Bama will not be able to produce points. Bama's D has not been tested and will be come sat. They better show up to play because this game will be decided by which QB makes more mistakes and my bet is on the no name qb Bama has. Hogs steal this one in Alabama by 3.
And no one here could guess that you are an Arky homer Mr. I love the HOGS To win it all in 2011
