This is the first time I can remember that the system did this. There will be better days. No one is forced to tail the systems' picks.

Wow...what train just rolled over my ass.  This is unbelievable.  I apologize to all those that follow the computer picks.  I obviously have a lot of work to do to fix this.  Again, I apologize....should have waiting another week or two....

On another note...for those that like the favorites...had Illinois and Troy both actually played the last 15 secs of their games the Favs would have been 5-0 this week. 

Sorry folks...I promise to work on this and get a better product out there...this was simply embarassing.

keep it up.   the data smooths out over the season.   as you mentioned in the start to the thread, you usually wait until week 4 or 5.   stuff is too goofy this early in the year.

This past week was a bad week for the underdogs. Teams favored 75% or higher at sportsinsights went 15-7 ATS. That will reverse itself. You saw what the NFL did yesterday after a day of favorites in college.

This is just picking the wrong dogs.

It wasnt a very good week for the average bettor - therefore those who use #s and computers arent going to have good weeks. They often cannot measure the intangibles.

ATC, don't let it slow you down man.  Rough day at the office.  Your system has proven itself over the past few years.

And like one poster mentioned earlier, you may have forced it a bit this week since you did have a good week last week.  You usually wait until week 4 or 5 to make the picks "official."

BTW, the favorites system looks good.

this will happen, as consistent as i can remember the computer being the last couple of years, these days will inevitably happen, better luck next week.

Run that 'puter again man, just like every toher week. It works better after a few weeks under its belt...at least 4, which we're gettin to...so I expect for things to improve greatly. Really everyone should have taken the first few weeks of ATC's computer picks with a grain of salt, as he released them earlier than normal.
