UGA has 7 five stars on D. Prob gonna hit 17 by game time. Buy a half ....and that might b tasty frankly, I am inclined to think this is a little rich to lay.
There is a huge difference in strength of schedule....thinking 33 vs 105. Will look again. My mind ain't what it once was...

It took all Auburn had to beat a very poor LSU team last week. Do really think they have enough in the tank to match up against a very deliberate and physical Georgia team that was untested by Arkansas last week with their Bennett under center. Georgia's on a mission and there's no one left on their schedule derail it, even with their back up QB under center.
Don't chase today, there's always tomorrow in gambling....

A good story would be Auburn getting an interception, Bo not throwing one, and getting the upset at home. Is that a crazy story?
It certainly wouldn't be the first time crazy stuff has happened between these two teams. A few years ago, Auburn beat Georgia on the last play of the game on a Hail Mary that bounced off two Georgia DB's hands right to the AU receiver who took it to the house. At a glance, it's easy to think Auburn has no chance here, but against Georgia or Alabama, you can throw away the book.

Auburn's offensive numbers are skewed by their first two games (vs Akron & Alabama State) where they scored 122 points. Against Penn St., Georgia St. & LSU they averaged 26.

Both Georgia and Auburn average 40+ ppg.

Auburn beat #1 georgia like a drum 4 years ago at home. Two years ago down 21-0 in the 4th Auburn came back and lost a heartbreaker with a chance to tie at the end. I'm not saying Auburn wins but very few teams walk into Jordan-Hare and beat any Auburn team by 17+. With their QB most likely out georgia will look to run which Auburn has looked good at stopping thus far. georgia bettors have to remember they are most likely betting on Stetson Bennett. The 5 yard outs are cute but the guy can't throw it much further than 35-40 yards downfield. Without him being able to keep the defense honest I think the Auburn defense will load up to stop the run and keep them in it. I see an ugly 20-12 or 21-13 georgia win with Auburn having a chance at the end.

Man you could easily be right. My first gut feeling was a low scoring game. I bet it goes how you described. Of course I would rather Auburn pulls ahead early and stays ahead, I will take a chance for a last minute score.

That is not a skew. That is why it is called an average. Georgia played Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and UAB. So if you say Auburn is skewed you have to say Georgia is skewed. Auburn has the ability to score 40. If Georgia has a bad game on D, has penalties, and misses tackles, and the O struggles and makes turnovers, you could expect Auburn to take advantage and score 40.

It won't likely happen (a SU win) but I like when someone is going against the grain.
Sprinkling a little (say $25-50) on the Aub ML wouldn't be a terrible idea. Something that isn't crippling. Longshot upset. Unlikely as it may be.
The real question is...Can Auburn cover? I think they can. UGA's best win, Clemson, is showing everyone that they legitimately can't move the ball on anyone. And Arkansas? They were banged up and in a bad spot after their emotional Texas and A&M wins. Getting UGA in Athens after all of that? Yuck, was easy to see a letdown happening for Ark (easy $). Arkansas is still a year-ish away from being a real contender, if ever.
Auburn, at home, being written off? I wouldn't be crazy enough to ML them myself but I'll probably jump on the +16.

I would be very surprised if this isn't a low scoring game. Kirby has a tendency especially on the road to play ultra conservative, field position football and trust his defense to win. With georgia's Qb and offensive situation I think this is exactly what he will do. Go very run heavy, try to shorten the game and get out of there with a low scoring win. I think of their 14-3 win against Kentucky last year. If Auburn can get a turnover or big play early and tip them off that conservative game plan a little bit, I think they have a legit shot. Bennett showed last year if you put some pressure on him he will turn it over. He threw a bunch of picks in big games for them when he played and this will be the toughest environment he has walked into probably ever but definitely since bama last year where he looked awful. On the flip side georgia has probably the most pure talent in the nation and a great staff so if things go right for them early like they have the last few weeks it could get ugly. The Auburn Tiger in me thinks we will hang tough though.

ran it about 80% vs Ark. Now granted it was there for the taking . Dude is too conservative. They may have rushed Daniels back too soon after getting hurt preseason.

you are either on crack or you are being sarcastic...Auburn will score no more than 10 points...The unknown is whether or not UGA can score more than 26...

Are you implying that Auburn is better than Arkansas? I don't think they are...UGA will take the fans out of the game early, with one or more turnovers...Nix will come back to earth...and UGA will be methodical with its running game with some play action passes to keep them honest. From my perspective, it is going to take a phenomenal game by Auburn to cover this spread...UGA rolls...on offense and limits Auburn to 3 points...Like Saban, Kirby Smart is learning how to play like a champion, and that's not be ultra conservative on offense, and win with defense...UGA scored 10 points in the 4th quarter against an 8th ranked Arkansas team. What does that tell you?

I mean talent doesn’t have everything to do with it but yeah Auburn absolutely has more talent than Arkansas. That game has nothing to do with this one though. If you base bets off the previous week in the SEC you will get murdered. georgia played at home then and is going on the road in a hostile environment for their first true road game. Can’t consider Vandy a road game when there was probably 60-70% percent uga fans in the stands. Probably 1/3 or more of Auburns players are from georgia and this is an old hateful rivalry. I literally said in my last point that georgia is the most talented team in the nation so if things go right for them early it will likely get ugly. Be realistic though, that georgia offense with JT in there is much different than Bennett. Bennett proved last year in big games that he doesn’t have it. georgia defense could and probably will win this on their own but if they can’t move the ball and they give Auburn some short fields or turn it over which Bennett has shown to do anything could happen.

Pls don't remind us of the hail Mary??. ERs were busy that night. And bars.
Believe me brother I understand. I'm an Alabama fan and watched Auburn do the same thing to us two weeks after that Georgia miracle. Remember the "KICK 6"? AU must have sold their soul to the devil. As far as Saturday goes, I'm on the under @46.5.

Frankly, I doubt seriously erratic Nix is gonna beat this D. Among other, UGA probably gonna have a LB or two spy on him to contain his running while my cuz Jordan Davis is bringing it up front.?? Another UGA W.
