Expected to take ECU getting any points here .. was hoping for 4.5 to 6 .. can't imagine they'd get +7 .. tougher call at +3 but have to .. been like 8 years since the last bowl game for an 'all things considered' pretty football intense fan base and just announced Holton is coming back for another year .. Mike Houston was not even supposed to make a bowl this year after a couple slightly improved but still fairly crummy years .. Like ULL playing App for the champ game, this is the moment Mike, Holton & Co have been waiting for and would expect a major effort here .. BC really tailed off after losing Jerko early and while they had a heartbeat late the defense collapsed and the team was kinda left in shambles on what coulda been a breakthru year if they kept things together and injury free.. could be a game if everyone shows up on BC ready to rock but funny feeling injured will stay that way and maybe a few guys might be hitting the portal or heading off to Draft camp in lieu of playing this game .. woulda also been a good fit for BC to play in the Fenway Park bowl too no? .. instead they put them much closer to ECU in Annapolis .. UVA/SMU in the Fenway bowl .. whatev, another reason to not like BC .. maybe 50 fans gunna travel to see this game ..

Michigan matches up well with UGA, took the Dawgs to win it preseason 7/1 and a big part of that reason was JT Daniels. Another reason was the schedule. Preseason I thought ok if they beat clemson they’re probably undefeated to the title game, and if they lose to Clemson they’ll still have a shot to win the SEC and make it. Looking back now, we know clemson didn’t have an offense and they coasted until Alabama and gave up 500 yards and 40+ points against a team that really hasn’t had a run game all season. If Georgia sticks with Bennett Michigan is going to beat them.
This month of prep is big and the continued development of JJ McCarthy will be a factor here with what that team just put on tape vs Young and Alabama. Mich has gotten stronger and stronger as the season goes and now I’m kind of wondering who Georgia really is. Michigan wants to run, and they should have success to the edges, and UGA is very inexperienced in the secondary. Alabama exploited that, and no I’m not calling the Michigan offense Alabama. However I do think they’re more balanced this season and will give the Georgia defense trouble.

If Michigan holds Ohio state to 27, which the bucks needed to pick up 3rd 15+ and multiple 4th downs to score 2 of those TDs then what do you expect from Georgia? Ohio states OL was rated #1 and they’re better at every position on offense imo.
7.5 is a lot to lay when you consider that. If UGA wins I think it’s a 20-16 type game. Team made maybe the biggest leap of any team this year and gotta be a bit unsatisfying going 10-2 and kinda stuck on the outside of the conf championship game .. think its a formula for unfinished business and Pitt on the other hand accomplished everything they wanted and more .. Also KW-III snubbed by the Heisman committee .. not saying he's gunna romp because of that but its def less distractions .. Entirely possible the wind got knocked out of their sails a bit after the conf champ game but that spot was kinda pre-determined .. just no way they were winning that game .. Should also note the great Hills OC who brought Zappe, the WR corps and the great offense from Houston Baptist is heading off to T-Tech now .. fitting spot .. don't think it matters a whole lot but with the risks and style of play Hills go with they can't afford to dud out on too many drives because of bad calls or just an unprepared offense in general .. this play also assumes Zappe & Co are playing I haven't heard one way or the other .. almost wonder if some of them might have an open invite already to head down to Lubbuck .. so might be some 'off to brighter horizons' for them .. on the flip side think alot of the guys who choose to go to a place like App kinda live for these kinda big challenge games .. also a lotta seniors on the squad for a couple years now and think they will want to snap outta that conf game downer quick and look to go out winners .. really a shame would be fun to see these G5'ers get a stabs at a few more of the BIG BOYS .. either way this game looks quite entertaining ..

UK does have a problem with turnovers and yeah that can sink us here but the real meat of the play is Hawkeyes offense shouldn't be able to keep the chains moving .. rumor also Goodson might be out.. that would be devastating as the only real credible rusher on the team but I don't think it matters either way, too many ways for UK to move the chains and think 17 is the max Iowa can get here .. went Bridge Special with UK-2.5/U44.5 as well for small bucks too ..
