Picked this up at a few spots we had 14-1 at Caesars you can thank JOZ for murdering it down to 9-1 lol .. This team looks ready to rock and LY I dropped a play on them 50-1 only to have the gambling piano fall on their heads a week later .. then early losses vs Iowa, total disaster @ Ohio lose 10-7 ... got THROTTLED by OU .. welllp .. somehow someway 50-1 shot had a legitimate shot down the stretch and while it really wasn't THAT close in that spot vs UT the run game shut down totally for 3 yards, we did get an EPIC game outta FR QB Rocco Brecht hitting 75% for 320 yds .. dude in da making!
Besides the prospects they got w Rocco they found a legit FR RB Sama down the stretch .. maybe a snowy day vs K-State but he went yard on them ALOT and it wasn't his only saturday with a HUGE yards per carry the guy is a tackle breaking machine and one to watch this year .. Clones got really good targets too Noel, Higgy and the TE are back .. I'd hope they find another couple guys one to watch out for is Isaiah Allston in from Army, injury kept him out much of the last couple years but he's slippery lot of teams were going after him .. think all five of the OL's are back and a couple backups that unit gotta get better I think there's reason to think they will .. only concern is losing OC Sheelasse Clones not really known for their great OC's so fingers xx'd on that but there's alot to like on that side ..
D might be winding up for a real HEACOCK FASTBALL .. they were pretty darn good once again even after losing tons of their best studs .. this year they lose CB TJ Tampa to the NFL, Gerry Vaughn was a great LB .. but its 9/11 starters back and almost all the depth, ton of guys played last year units look real good .. mild concern replacing the CB but w 1 starter and 2 backups returning and a safety unit is super deep I think they'll have all the DB's they need.. Star power maybe a little bit of a question but when we see Heacock pulled a rabbit out of a hat last year gettin it done w 4 or 5 starters back 50% snaps, 10 experienced players and he's showin up w 9 starters 90% of the snaps back and over 20 very experienced you gotta like the profile! ..
Schedule has FCS ND, @Iowa, Ark State in non con and nothing easy in the B12 but just the 4 roadies for em this year and easy stuff looks like @Hou, Bay, Cincy then dials up a bit @WV, UCF, T-Tech mid ssn .. the final stretch is a bit tricky @KU, @Utah, and K-State in the finale .. Its a rugged last month sure but im not seeing a sure thing bohemouth in the conf that can flat out deny the Clones another trip to the champ game .. Utah can bounce back w CAM and Kuithe back.. I like the K-State QB but overall idk if they'll be a better team .. KU yeah I don't like that road spot ... those are your odds on favs right now Clones seem like they'd fit right into that group IMO .. yeah big picture Campbell had the one down year in '22 but you look at the sitch last year and how that turned out can only grade it as another outperformer for that guy .. I think Odds 10x or better say give these guys a shot and I'm playing now, I think the odds are closer to 8 or 7 by kickoff as folks put 2 n 2 together seein a well coached group of outperformers showin up w this roster .. good luck!

Homer bet alert .. but in fairness I never go outta my way to post a bet about these guys it would be too embarrassing and this one might end that way too .. that said we had a team LY off a real devastating couple years as the Herm experiment came to an ugly end .. we now have a great group of coaches on board and some talent on the roster .. but with the self imposed bowl ban it was an easy call pre-ssn last yr to say these guys weren't playin for wins or even to look good coach dillingham and crew were very much about building to year 2 and beyond .. and that's def what it looked like lol .. they had various injury problems and guys hitting the portal .. lotta young guys .. TON of guys from the portal .. they had 2 OL's star the whole season and 9 others play at least starting level snaps for at least 1 game total carousel in the unit .. True FR Rashada started 3 games and got injured Bourgette started a bunch more, Pyne and Conover got significant snaps in a few other games .. the D wasn't great but were able to put a few surprise games together when healthy .. late in the year things turned ugly rightfully so at some point they were really down to the wire w who was left ..
So we know last year wasn't a team playin to win necessarily and we can at least bank on a big turnaround because its now an experienced team with renewed goals and there's at least something to like coming back w Rashada and Bourgette, Sakttebo at RB reminds me of that Mizzoo RB total heart n soul of the offense .. the WR unit maybe one of the best in the B12 .. can't say the OL will be one of the best but yeah you just can't look at last year .. I see the spring roster metrics and they got some biiig boys in that group .. Dilly has a reallly good group of assistants on that side and I could see things click in year 2 w this crew .. and the DC can at least draw them up a winner, dude from Wash State pitched 2 real sticky defenses w them and shoulda beat Wash on the road as like 4 TD dogs, were reallly close to a massive upset and all led by the D and yeah total meltdown late w the roster in shambles, getting backups some experience etc .. I can at least say there's a diff team showing up this year ..
Schedule doesn't help us its def on the more difficult side of things .. trip to Manhattan mid November w wildcats off a bye seems like a really difficult spot but otherwise there's nothin that looks unconquerable if Dilly can really turn the page on offense and the D prob has to be a surprise .. little luck would be great .. nothing impossible though I'll take the 100X odds and have some low risk high reward fun w my boyz this year .. GO DEVILS!!!

All very real concerns regarding my wolves! Agree on JJ. Have tons of draft futures on him #1 at 80/1, 150/1… #2 at 100/1… and #3 at 40/1.
those odds have all tanked except for #1 you can still get 100/1 but as low as 30/1 in some places… he’s a lot better than most realize. Wouldn’t touch Caleb with anyone else’s money. Not sold on Maye or Daniels. Penix and JJ might be the 2 safest picks with Caleb being the biggest risk/reward pick.

Well its prob DOA in a major way but I do feel like Behren was the heir apparent for Kitley since his FR year and here we are a couple years later he's the clear #1 QB to run Kit's system ... now all we need to do is keep the guy on his feet and run the system effectively .. we'd be getting a wayyyy lower price on this one if T-TECH didn't have so many QB issues over the years and trouble developing the roster into Kitley's system.. Alas we're getting a monster number for what could be a MONSTER year, recall how this went for Kit at W.KY .. not to compare B-MORT to "the great one" but I don't think we've quite seen this system really take off yet and we can at least say if the shoe fits then things should click in a major way .. Problems we might encounter w this pick are low name recognition not to mention team recognition .. We also need to make a major, and I mean MAJOR, run in the B-12, maybe even run the table to get the spotlight on us in a way we'll be taking home the hardware .. well at 200-1 I can take a stab like this BOL maxing us out at a 5k win means 25 down .. and surprisingly still seeing it at 200 even after I smacked it, I'd hit it again if they'd let me have a little more fun but can't do it so first come first serve.. get it while its hot!! .. seeing caesars as low as 75x, I'd try to shop for no lower than 150 and becomes a bit of a stretch below that number .. good luck!

Great stuff brother .. finally get a glipse at a few .. brah NC State got Anae some guys to work with now I think they got more rushing yds in this spring game than they have the past 2 seasons and wasn't just GMC running around back there multiple RB's were rippin and GMC was makin plays .. we'll see if backup QB can really throw but that dude is a wildcatter they'll have some fun stuff dialed up for him this year ..
Clem's D won like 29/30 plays in H1 when the dudes were in and not just winning the plays but like havoc city every play snuffed out big, not sure the O had more than 1 or 2 good runs lotta stuff was blown up in the backfield ... idk how many of the killer FR they got LY were even playing like peter woods and that crew .. didn't matter they are nasty and deep on that side still, DB's were all over every pass it seemed, couple PI's mighta been the O's best plays .. the WR sitch has been real bad post TL and there was one FR stud they're excited about he got quite a few looks and did okay .. couple targets were out of the spring but maaaan dabo better come to his senses and dial up the portal or its trouble Riley Jr needs some real help now that run game saved maybe a really embarrassing season.. Shipley gone, Mafa gotta carry a bigger load, Klub barely stayed out the red on his rush numbers LY albeit not bad w 29 sacks lol .. if that run game turns a little less effective then any number of these ACC fun offenses might be hangin tight w these guys this year .. maybe more than tight w a little luck ..
With all that I can take a few GOY's on the board for a few bucks .. good luck buddy!

all at Fan Duel so can only call em smaller w the limits and so early I couldn't play for much more anyway .. but lookin at some spring games and thinkin things thru on these teams I'm good to put a few of their games on the pre-ssn card now ..
NC STATE +10 @ CLEM (GOY)
Gotta do this one NC State doesn't look like a team we want to hand a free 10 spot to vs anyone in the ACC in any venue .. Recall when Anae turned Cuse's super dud offense into something fun for a season, I was hoping we'd see it last year but didn't have a real run game .. QB Armstrong and stud WR KC "Immaculate" Concepcion were top rushers w 1k yds and next 3 RB's combined barely matched them w not great yds / carry .. bring in a DUUUDE like Duke's RB Waters and stack him up w GMC and I saw a few others RB's who could run in the spring game and keep KC at WR add a couple more .. maybe a huge turnaround on O and ya gotta trust the DC by now even w less production back .. I dropped this to 9.5 for ya I think its still worth a play .. worth playing pre-ssn because I think this ticks under a TD by kickoff and if only it wasn't in such a tough venue like Clem then I'd say Pack should only get 3-4 pts at most ..
NC STATE PICK'EM @ UNC (GOY)
Piggy backing off the last play .. were getting NC St -110 for a win and yeah Its a big monster rivalry here but you see NC State throttle these guys last year and one team I think could be better or much better and another team lined up to maybe implode w the production losses and total inability to field a D for a few years now .. wow what coulda been for the Heels if they weren't totally inept on that side we'll never know but if Mack didn't have the sense to really change the coach sitch up last year then I can't see things going well this go'round .. this game is so far out that the only way I can play it is belief that we have two teams going completely diff directions and were on the side that was better LY anyway .. wouldn't lay too many here but can play at a pick'em .. it is a rivalry game on the road we can't predict NC State will move by a full TD even if the models end up adjusting them that much .. but I could see NC State go from a pick to a 4-5 pt fav and think we'll be justified takin em this early .. I really don't see this one moving the other way barring GMC QB injury, but just getting a peek at the backup I don't think we're totally at risk even if we get unlucky in that regard ..

this goes over and I think its another UGA BIG OPENING GAME ROOOOMPER .. Maybe a fun way to play this is wait till it drops and take it over and tack the UGA line onto it .. Clem looked inept on O in the spring vs their D in just about every way and only way I see this going over is UGA ends up really murdering these guys .. otherwise I think Clem's O looks alot like the last time they had a UGA opener w DJ sacked like 7 times or something insane .. Clem doesn't seem like they'll have the receiving targets squared away assuming dabo doesn't really hit the portal and UGA's pass D is just tooo good at everything when nobody can get open basically felt like we saw a preview of that in their spring gm .. add on now maybe a run game that has trouble getting positive yds and wallah .. I did see Clem at least appears to have their HORRIFIC FG kicker situation fixed w a stud FR coming in and I'd bank on Dabo being willing to take 3 pointers in this game at least until he has to start rolling the dice, if ever.. and even losing a few good ones from that D Clem in a great reloading spot having brought on a few real legit dudes they shouldn't skip much of a beat... D Line could even be elite and a real notch better than UGA's even, could make things tricky for the Dawgs offense ... UGA's offense was noticeably less effective w Bowers and McConkey injured LY and they lose those super talents and a few others on O .. Feels like a DC chess match coming so I can take 48.5 under now because I could see this dropping to low 40's by kickoff and if the game plans call for the O to feel things out early one get a couple punts i'd guess in game total will be real quick to drop and maybe we're holding a 37 - 48.5 middle shot or better if we're still in the mood to gamble at that point.. the one thing I can't imagine is this total move any further up .. good luck!

Not gunna dwell on all the particulars but big picture the Bru Crew doesn't seem like they'd be well positioned to play another PAC 12 season let alone make a big move to da B1G .. group of legit dudes lost is one thing but the real probs I see is the coaching... things looked on track for a second but then the DC slapped em in the face w a move to USC .. portal and NFL departures started realllly adding up and final nail Chip said yeah screw this I'm leaving my HC job to be OC for the buckeyes lol ..
My sense is UCLA hasn't been taking football all that seriously for a while and it might make sense to promo your RB's coach Deshaun Foster to HC as a way to build bridges w an unhappy football alumni, fans, etc .. hope they hit a home run in that regard but I cant see year 1 going well w this move when it feels like they asked Boeing who they should hire .. if that makes sense .. new OC Eric Bieniemy had a great run w the Chiefs but sounds like the struggles were so bad w Wash that he had to go .. don't muse NFL but does look like Wash went from well balanced run/pass to like super duper heavy pass game and gunna guess UCLA will need a total DUDE at QB to be successful not to mention familiarity w the NFL system .. Eric B was last seen in CFB in Boulder where they went from an average CFB offense to a bad one w him in 2011 .. to an absolutely HORRIFIC one in 2012 winning 1 game going over 20 pts 3 times .. eek .. always real skep of the NFL offense coming to CFB, Cal had this problem for years too complicated and you need guys who can play like pros, QB's that can read and process, OL's that can block w out the extra help etc.. Was a disaster for years for Cal even w high ret pro guys familiar w the complexity and system, etc .. Ethan Garbers maybe ready to run Chip Kelly's offense this year but I think this is gunna be trouble from the git go and maybe some point it clicks .. the other prob for them is while there's a couple guys on O to like who the heck is gunna be lining up to insert themselves into this team?.. portal should be dry post spring guys they'll want are probably gunna look elsewhere ... On D I can't see things being nearly as strong either lose a wizard at DC in Lynn .. the staff promoted the legacy ILB coach to DC and there's some promise there as he was co-coord for the huskies D when they were in their heyday but not the main coord there .. but the DL coach was a grad asst at Oregon LY, first year as an on field assistant .. CB coach retained from LY has just the 1 year at this level and is also the ST coord so good luck w that .. I don't see a safeties coach listed .. so lotta legacy D coaches that were on some pretty hit and miss Bruin squads before LY ..
Schedule has a super winnable start @Hawaii .. if anything freak happens on the island we can count our chickens by week 1 lol .. home vs Indy idk I sure like Hoosiers coaching sitch and ability to put a real team on the field faster than the bruins can and I might really like to take some points in that one after that it gets tough @LSU, OREG, @PSU, MINNY, @RUT, @NEB, IOWA, @WASH, USC ... and a really odd scheduling quirk w finale at home vs FRES .. well I hope they're not sitting at 5 wins for the finale but which 5 are we thinking they'll win by then? .. even so, the Rose Bowl over TG is a lonely place when it aint USC playin .. I could see Fresno show up lookin for a scalp while a number of Bruins start hoppin in the portal.. The +odds are coming off the board it was +120's at most, CZRs already 5.5 -115 under. Will it drop to 5 idk but were getting odds with the hook at a few spots .. these guys stink, playin it now ..

Thx buddy BR started turning the volume down on me almost immediately when I was hittin some of their futures where the odds were a little better than the other books.. just a heads up they didnt appreciate the aggressive play I was giving em .. they knocked me down to like laughably low limits when I took Pitt like 60-1 in season the year they won the ACC it was right after they lost to like W.Mich or some other dinky school like 5k win and they'd had enough of me .. so yeah max bet for me for the Clones would be like $10 and then they'll prob still jerk the good odds down, I'll let someone else take that deal for me .. but thx for the heads up! ..
@BigTymePlayer25
Good stuff buddy yeah hope they come thru .. Clem's D looked ready to rock and hope the O continuing to struggle after last year and in the spring gm and hopefully vs UGA means we'll get a few spots where Clem's O is underestimated and really turns on .. maybe that NC ST game is the one ?.. we'll see ..

There's a few spring games you look on wondering what you'll get and quickly say .. 'yeah .. they different' .. and for NC.ST's offense which has been anemic for a few years, prob cost them at least 1 conf championship and maybe at least 1 more appearance, this was definitely THAT .. A few others like that were G-Southern in '22 when they brought in Clay Helton .. wasn't expecting much on a triple O transition with VAN-T at QB who didn't do much at Buffalo for a few years as a starter .. spring gm offense looked like a 99 rated videogame offense controlled by an AI-9000 joystick .. same last year w GT la-di-daaa what to expect .. and boom loads of fun and well worth playing on these teams in pre-ssn .. This was a little more predictable and we're not getting massive odds for a big key turning offense but woah nelly yeah they make my 'They Different!' list for sure ..
We were hoping for a big move last year under new OC Anae with his dude from UVA Armstrong joining him but yeah spring game was a tell nothing looked real smooth .. Anae turned UVA and Cuse's offenses around quickly and both teams suffered EPIC drop offs after he left even when retaining the same QB and much of the same offensive stars so there's good reason hope for a turnaround even if we didn't quite get it last year .. Bring in GMC and a trio of good dudes at RB headed by Duke xfer Waters .. they keep KC Concepcion major surprise at WR and grab Noah Rogers off the Buckeyes was the star of the spring gm easily .. TE Jolly from Uconn looks the part and they'll have 2-3 other capable receiving targets its a loaded room this year .. Offensive line has to be better but profiles for decent improvement w 4 back and add a quality xfer at OL-C and retained much of their depth ..
Defense has a few questions w some NFL losses and grads but have a DC that's easily on my 'Count on' list .. we didn't see quite a few ret starters in the spring gm but there's enough coming back to not significantly downgrade these guys and word is out they got guys coming in that the DC wanted .. maybe the top or near top CB trio in the ACC and a few real stars in those DE/Edge spots .. what I'm not reading much of is about concerns of any particular unit .. don't have to X my fingers too hard on that side of the ball ..

Pack check quite a few boxes for me on stuff I want when making a futures play .. GMC is just the ultimate competitor and he's a big dude 6'2 220 and will have alot of targets and weapons around him and one of a few QB's when the ball's in his hands we can trust that hell or high water he's making a play .. but there's a real comfort is true FR CJ Bailey, already looks the part of a guy who could step in at least temporarily if needed .. Coaching staff is completely in tact from last year and feel its a really underrated group.. FG kicker in the spring gm hit 39 and 50 yarders Pack always seem to have a good one and Sp.Tms is reallllly key if yer trying to improve a win total or make a conf champ gm .. OL got 10 guys over 310 plenty of BIIGS ..
Schedule is a huge favor open FCS W.Carolina then get TENN at a home/neut game in Charlotte, get that popcorn ready gunna be fireworks .. La-Tech then @Clemson for the big game on the schedule.. no trap on deck chill spot vs NILL .. then Wake, Cuse, @Cal, Bye, Stan, Duke, Bye, @GT, @UNC .. 4 true roadies pretty spaced out none seem that tricky .. maybe Cal is a bit of a trap going long roadie after a month at home that might be interesting.. @GT yeah they are a scrappy bunch .. but Byes and non-cons very well placed and besides Clem they skip the sure thing good teams .. FSU, Miami, Ville.. some maybe shockers in SMU, VT .. no sneaky bad spot @Pitt .. its a schedule they could have gone to the champ gm w last year and I think we have a better team .. High RSW 8.5 makes sense I'd def only play over since they win vs Tenn or Clem I think its pretty much in the bag .. even if they lose both think great shot to rampage thru everyone else and at least sneak into a champ gm spot.. if they do I like their chances I don't anticipate FSU, Miami or Clem to be just an unstoppable force this year and if Pack's offense really looks complete it'll be tough for books to give them toooo many pts in a neutral champ gm scenario, esp if they have a big win vs Tenn or Clem on the resume .. and yeah weather or not NC State has the chops to take the crown the schedule .. reminds me alot of what I was lookin at w SMU last year w a really manageable path and few big risks that rule out a run .. pretty great odds available considering all the things to like here think no way we'll be above 10 for too long .. Czr's sharp shooters thinking much better about this droppin to 7.5-1 and I think the actual odds they'd feel good putting up could very well be lower than that they're already 5x lower than other books no reason to drop em lower to like 5-1 yet if thats what they really want em .. I'll say if Ville is 5-1 w their schedule then Pack should be in that zone too IMO .. I'd try to get this at 10 or better but I doubt its around very long ..
As far as the RSW goes .. yeah def lean over but we get into a spot where they drop gms to Tenn and Clem and they realllly gotta go on a pretty steady run .. I'll say if they can cover 9 wins its like win one more gm they're prob in the champ gm .. think we take the odds and bank on our dudes handling the easy conf schedule and punching a champ game ticket .. welp... good luck!

We hit him last year at like 250-1 hoping he'd make a post spring portal move and light it up somewhere .. fun idea but didn't happen .. so we got the move now and BOL for 100x this year .. okay I can consider running it back again we've seen what we need to from him in spring ball and w the weapons around him and just lookin at the schedule its not unimaginable the offense makes these guys really fun and dangerous in the ACC .. GMC isin't the biggest name but he's already a household name by now and won't be a shortage of network eyeballs and analysts looking to size him up early on .. IDK if we need to run the table but gotta see an epic gm vs Tenn and maybe survive a loss w them .. really gotta run the table from then on though even if the big stats aren't there vs Clem he's gotta do something fun in that one .. unlikely to get another big game after that but plenty of chances to pad the stat book and for GMC to get to NY they'll need to be HUUUGE .. couple year end games to like GT / UNC really seems like a if he's in contention then they're gunna let him put on a show .. there's some concerns baked in like dude's ability to escape pressure and avoid big hits .. we've seen this dude give himself up and get injured a few times the last few years .. very notably in that bowl game vs ECU .. they also have a backup QB who could potentially not just come in for some early mop up duty but very likely see them give Bailey some packages and steal a few real reps.. we'll see .. but yeah ultimate competitor gamer QB who goes BALLLZ out for a win okay for these odds I can post a play and spotlight will be quick to shine on him since he's already a great CFB story .. the best story is we look back on 2024 and feel totally justified taking a shot on him to xfer in 2023 as we're burning hundos to light our cigars, huh?!!!? lol .. good luck!

Often when I'm playing futures, it's more about the other teams in the conference. Hence in this case, WTF not on Ga Tech +10000. I don't think the top of ACC is infallible this year with juggernaut FSU basically resetting, Clemsons continued flaws at QB/OLine, and, well, the Miami/Louisville slop.
I agree that NC State with a '22 McCall and those weapons could be something. The defense will be fine, as you pointed out, lots of rest in the Spring game. I actually got lucky and timed out a play basically right when you posted (good reassurance) for ACC. Now, that part about it being about other teams... I'm seeing some high odds for NC State playoff. Would you consider?
Does 10-3 runner up get them in? 11-2?

Tom Allen had a stroke of genius hiring Deboer and Kane Wommack at the coord spots and they had some of their best years in quite a while .. Indy technically shoulda played NU in the 2020 B10 Champ gm until the B1G re-wrote their covid rules to help the Buckeyes get in .. KDeB and K-WOM went onto make magic elsewhere and can't wait to see them reunite at BAMA this year .. As for Tom he couldn't hire an OC to save his life after that and even with a high NFL draft pick and (near) Natty/Heisman-run QB on the roster they didn't have any idea how to use Pennix as he was hitting about 40% comps in his 3 conf games in '21 before his knee injury .. things went Chernobyl for 3 years after, extreme underperformance .. Coordinators really do matter! .. Indy currently sits as last place in SP+ at -6 which is a point or so better than they ended last year and sitting basically where Stan and ASU sit in Bill C's post-spring ratings and a point or so below NU and Mich St .. the RSW hasn't changed since the open at 5.5 over takin odds ..
JMU coach Curt Cignetti answered the call and brought the key parts of his coaching staff and many of the (still eligible) JMU players .. we really like Coach Ciggy taking over Div-II IUP and going from middling years to conf champs and making the playoffs .. took a 2-7 Elon to B2B playoffs in his 2 yrs there .. kept the show going at JMU came a yard away from a natty in '19 and sans an epic meltdown vs Sam Hoo in '20 they prob win it that year .. JMU has had what was easily the GREATEST AND MOST EPIC transition of any team moving from FCS to FBS .. We know Cig to be a no F-Around boss who makes all the decisions and he made clear they aren't taking their time w a turnaround and developing the roster, they hit the portal hard bagging experienced football players and while many were from the lower levels they wouldn't attract a mega-mass of ret prod or his former JMU studs if they weren't looking to make a splash turnaround and at a min Indy is looking for their first Bowl since '20 not to mention something to actually cheer for by the Hoosier faithful .. so our goals align perfectly ..
