I hear you, but even if they win out.  No way the NCAA lets this guy touch the Heisman or the National Title trophy.

Even if Newton plays every snap, and wins ever game by 50, they will be stripped of all their wins and trophies & he will never touch the Heisman.

havent seen the story yet. its very sad that the ncaa punishes the players. lets not forget these are KIDS.  its like offering a child candy you think they are gonna say no.  very unfortuanate

SEC and Auburn have apparently known of the allegations since at least July, yet Newton has not missed a down. In most cases, if a player's eligibility is even remotely in question, a school sits him until the matter is resolved (as North Carolina did with several players earlier this season.) Either Auburn did its due diligence and feels confident Newton's family did no wrong, or it's taking an incredibly brazen risk in suiting up a player at the center of an ongoing investigation.

This I agree with.

I think the story sucks.

But to say this is irrelevant is stupid.  Auburn is done.  Look at what the NCAA has done in the past.

As I said...he can play every snap...win every game by 50 points. Auburn will be stripped of any accomplishments if a dirty player is involved.   Bye bye Heisman.  This never happened before.  They caught him mid season.  Auburn would be smart to sit him.  If not, they will face years of penalties.

Rumor I am hearing now is that Urban Meyer had a phone conversation with Dan Mullen(MSU Head Coach) and Bond and encouraged them to leak this to the media. 

Bond is the guy that Kenny Rogers, the MSU alum with the 'football development company', supposedly told it would cost MSU 180K to get Cam.

Now why would Urban of all people do that?  Isn't he always the one bitching about rogue agents/scumbag and their lurking around college campuses?  This sounds more like a leak to point the spotlight on this Rogers guy and his company and NFL agent connections, which by the way Rogers is being investigated by the NFL for rules violations.

Just to make it clear...I'm not a fan of any team...just my money.

I think this is a rotten story.  The NCAA makes hundreds of millions on these kids who are in school for 'free education'.  Horseshit.  Auburn did nothing wrong, but according to NCAA rules, they now have a 'dirty' player at QB.  If Auburn chooses to play him, then Auburn will be 'dirty' in the eyes of the NCAA. 

Cam Newton's college career is over.  His football career is probably over too.

Stupid...if you play a dirty player, you become dirty.  All of your wins with a dirty player will not count.  Yes, Auburn did nothing, but Newton did something.  You may be the dumbest mo fo on covers.
