i'm not sure where Alabama would be without Ingram, but i feel safe in saying they would not be undefeated...and i am an Auburn fan...plenty of young men worthy, but you better be on an upper echelon team

I like Ingram as well. I like CJ Spiller to get drafted before Ingram,
and my favorite back to come is definitely freshman Ryan Williams from va tech that kid has got it all, he gets me excited just thinking about his future. Guy reminds me of DeAngelo Williams already and he is a freshman!!!! Add the fact his role model is Walter Payton shows me the kids got a brain.

Ingram but I am bias.... But in all seriousness I think Spiller would be right there if not ahead of Ingram if Clemson was undefeated or close to it..Both will be great in the NFL....

i have a lot of respect for cj spiller... i really do. i have seen him play and see what he can do first hand. against bama last year he showed his explosiveness when he took the opening kick in the second half back to the house... the kid can flat out fly , is extremely quick and has a lot of shiftiness.
ingram, on the other hand, can run any and every linebacker in the country over on any given play. he is a bowling ball when busting through holes... he has the vision of a young shaun alexander and he is always falling foward.
two completely different style of running backs between spiller and ingram... but i think the thing that sets them apart is obvious:
ingram gets it done against sec competition week in and week out.

If Clemson didnt have Spiller, they would be 4-5, not 6-3 (woulda lost to Miami for sure and probly Florida St)...not to mention they would have had ZERO chance vs Maryland, TCU or GT ...
The team is 10 points away from being 9-0, and if they had won 2 of those games, CJ would be at the top of the list.....
This team may not have got to a bowl game without Spiller...how many other teams can say that about 1 player?
He tied Heisman trophywinner Reggie Bush as they are the only players with at least 2,500 yards rushing, 1,500 yards in kickoff returns, 1,000 yards receiving and 500 yards in punt returns. And that was 6 games ago.....
Gerhardt? Ingram? Really?

Boom I agree that C.J.Spiller is a dynamic player but I have to disagree that he means more to his team than say Tebow or MCcoy or even Kellen Moore of Boise St.
What the hell, I'll give my vote to Kellen Moore.

Yeah we're crazy for thinking Mark Ingram will win the Heisman! Seriously, you're going to bash people for voting for a great player like Ingram, who is putting up tremendous stats like everybody else. Get a clue. It's not like we are the only ones. Many people involved in college football will agree. Go call them crazy too.
