As I wrote in the other thread...... 585 yards on the #1 rated defense, on the road, on a Thursday night . Yea, real fkkn average...... Bet you won't see that headline. Also, Florida State had 374 yards in 2nd half - Louisville hadn't allowed more than 351 yards in a GAME this season

But haters gonna hate..... Next up.

The definition of trolls...some of you are.

Show up after a loss??? Wow!!

Yeah, it was a bad beat.... FSU has a horseshoe up there asss right now. Louisville dropped picks/picks6's FSU fumbles the ball into the endzone.

Don't act like FSU hasn't had fate on their side a little

But to show up and talk shittt??? WOW.... Where have you been talking that noise after all the times I was right about big games like this?

Looked, I congratulated the FSU backers..... some of you are pathetic

Dropped ints make a game a bad beat? So every game is a bad beat pretty much since there's a dropped int pretty much every game? Good to know. All my losses have been bad beats!

40 yard td run - lucky
68 yard td pass - lucky hail mary
47 yard td pass - lucky hail mary
38 yard td run - definately lucky
35 yard td pass - i know i know lucky

How do you luck into 580 yards of offense? Must have eaten their lucky charms.

But what do i know...i dont have the "gift of college football"

Props for taking a stand and putting yourself out there though....gl on the rest of your card.

Not hating on you for your loss.... Only saying for you to be a man about it and accept it for what it was, which was a losing wager... Nothing shameful about a losing wager, until one starts making excuses for all of the reasons why he got moosed, or how awful of a beat it was etc.... I don't think your play was a bad play, only a losing play...but to start a new thread, urging Covers forum members to put their money on Louisville, and when it loses, responding by screaming foul is pretty tasteless... I think if you went back to the Boom of old, instead of this new attention seeking Boom, that you would be a much happier person ... best of luck the rest of the week..

Waaa waaaaa..... They only gained 580 yards but they were lucky...... Lol.

The excuses are pathetic, Boom. You are better than this. Winston had another TD called back for some bullsht phantom holding call. And did you complain about the Parker obvious push-off that wasn't called which led to a Lou TD?? FSU torched that alleged #1 D you hyped up, and that is why you lost. It was a bad bet, as many here warned you all week. Anything less than 7 points against JW having the ball last was a BAD BET.

Yes Louisville was covering throughout most of the game... but you did watch the game, and realize that it took Seminoles mistakes and Louisville playing balls to the wall in the first half for it to be that way...  Second half, different story... adjustments were made, Seminoles played looser, better talent prevailed, and Winston did what Winston does, which is win...  Like I stated earlier....it wasn't a bad bet, just a losing bet, and nothing shameful about a losing bet, until you cry about being a victim....

Obviously it's a bad beat... people who live for the "after game" are the cancers of this website!  They don't bet money on the games, so the only "satisfaction" they can get is by patting themselves on the back after the game...

The amount of things that had to happen for FSU to get that cover were mind-boggling...

Not only the fumble into the endzone before the half, but the fact they had so much time on the clock because the refs didn't review the Louisville TD where the WR was down on the 1 yard line... should have run off more (or all) of the clock...

Fumble after the INT to start the 2nd half... false start on the crucial drive on 2nd and 8 that could have iced the game... and oh yea, a 40 yd TD pass to get the "backdoor" cover when the game was in the bag...

You gotta be a monumental toolbag to suggest this wasn't a badbeat for Louisville bettors... and some of you are just that!

I don't think original posters bet was bad at all, hard to handicap what happened, and that was good of you to congratulate the other side but a bad beat?
I guess you can call every loss loss a bad beat techincally but I call it one when there's a last second score that beats me. Didn't FSU score with like 2 minutes left? Louisville still could have scored to make it a bad beat for FSU bettors.
I think FSU got lucky but they have gotten lucky all year and think Louisville pussed out in 2nd half and FSU, as they usually do, turned it up. That's what happened from my perspective.

Some people are just a bit too simple-minded to think beyond black-and-white concepts like "a win is a win and a loss is a loss"... they can't understand that there is a lot of gray area in between that game ending 35-31 and 42-31... as if they knew all along a meaningless TD would be scored on the last possible play it could have been scored...

And the main reason they want to think in those simplistic terms is because that is the only way you can get satisfaction on a forum like this, when you don't actually put money on the game!

When you wager money on the game, you don't feel a need to rub salt in the wound of a guy who lost a game he shouldn't have lost, because you understand what it's like to be that guy...

It's a very beautiful world when there is no actual money involved... you lose nothing when you're wrong, and you can pound your chest like a monkey when you win!

Congrats to those of you who seek joy in other people's misery... it must be a rich and fulfilling existence!

It's not a bad beat, it's a bet that lost.  There are 100 things that happen throughout a game that can effect the outcome.  The fact is FSU rolled them on the second half 35-10!!! That's not a bad beat, it's getting crushed!  Sometimes the ball bounces a different way.  Nobody should be bashing this guy for losing a bet, he has won plenty, BUT let's not get carried away saying it was such a bad beat like a Hail Mary to win the game.  FSU beat a team that was not as good as them, period.

If FSU doesn't score a TD on that play they take 3 knees and the game is over... you even made a thread talking about how Louisville was snakebit, and you admit here FSU got lucky...

I'm not sure what all of you think a bad beat is... but it's when the balance of luck weighs heavily on one side, to the extent that the you lose the bet because the variance swings well beyond the margin of error you calculate when capping the game...

That is what happened... therefore, it's a bad beat!

Anyway... Covers always has and always will be a haven for (a) after-the-game chest pounders, and (b) people who are uninformed about the finer points of handicapping... so putting things into proper perspective is (as always) a waste of time...

The Cappers do the work... but the idiots run the forum and vacuum up every whiff of glory there is to be found!

Fine if that's your definition. At the same time, why would anyone feel differently are just too simple-minded, not betting real money on the game and just want to get satisfaction on someone losing?

You want to talk about gray area instead of just black and white? How about someone that's on Lou but he doesn't think it's a bad beat like ME? Reasonable people come to different conclusions so what's the big deal?

Let me repeat.... 585 yards against that so-called #1 D in America.

IT HOULD HAVE BEEN MORE IF NOT FOR A BS PHANTOM HOLDING THAT REVERSED ANOTHER TD PASS BY WINSTON.

What about that OBVIOUS push-off by Parker that led to a late Louisville TD??

What about that FUMBLE that should have been overturned because he was still off the ground when he lost possession?? That was a total joke, and all the Louisville fans KNEW it.

Shark and Boom and all you idiots that lost money on this bet are now butt-hurt and whining about bad beats. Didn't several on this forum, including me, tried to tell you, WARN YOU, that this is FSU 2014's M.O.? This is what they do. If this was last year's FSU team and this happened (of course the line would NOT have been -4 last year), I might tend to agree with you. BUT WE ALL WARNED YOU THAT EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED WOULD HAPPEN. And you still bet it...... That's tough shiz, and you deserve to lose. Smart folks who MADE MONEY on the game last night bet 1st Q and 1st H Louisville, and either stayed away from the total game spread or took FSU because Winston with the ball last is money. Suckers took Louisville, and well, there you go. GL the rest of the weekend. I will try to help you out with some picks you can tail tomorrow morning.

    20-8...... what's your record?

Incidentally, you are living proof of what I'm talking about... you didn't even bet FSU in this game, and here you are still trying to take credit for "WARNING US ALL EXACTLY WHAT WOULD HAPPEN"... you had exactly ZERO dollars on FSU in this game, and yet you are pounding the f*CK out of your chest...

Guys like you are EXACTLY why this is a haven for clowns, and not a respectable cappers forum... even though there are probably more good cappers on this forum than any other site on the net!

Take credit and chest-thump all you want... but that last statement is the hard-cold truth!
