Osirus i would like to start by saying the woman in your avatar is smoking hot!! Next, please tell me other than Ohio state this year, what big games does USC play other than their bowl game? No one!! I'm not disputing they get good recruits and play well, but the only reason they accomplish either of those two is because they look like a pro team because of their weak conference. Put them in a good conference, Pete Carroll will still get the recruits, aand I'm sure they would still be good, but they won't be great like everyone makes them out to be. 2-3 losses a year in the SEC for the Trojans.

WRONG!
WRONG!
Ok and if Florida plays a 1-loss LSU, whose only loss is @ Florida, in the SEC Championship, then you don't think Florida will go? If you say no, go outside and shoot yourself (don't want to bleed and ruin some good carpet).

Worst post in history. Where have you been the past 2 years? The Big 10 is terrible!

I agree with what your saying about USC. They do win big games. However, they also lose games they should win (i.e. Stanford '07, UCLA '06). They also lost to Texas in the NC title game with TWO Heismann trophy winners.
If this team played in the SEC, they would definitely lose two games a year, on average, that is! Think about how many quarters these starters play now as opposed to the minutes they would get in the SEC. When your throwing your body around for 4 quarters trying to grind out a win, (week in, week out) you sustain many more injuries than you do in a 52-10 beat down.
There is no doubt that USC has the most talent in the country though. Its absurd.

USC should play in the championship game, but they don't deserve to, because the path they have to take, is less difficult then the Big 12 or SEC. However, I want to see a good game, and there's no one else I rather see, then the "Men of Troy" against the best team, from the best conference.
USC vs SEC, let's make this happen, you freaking voters

This is one of the things that I dont like about college football ...everything is so objective. You have opinions putting teams in championship games instead of letting them earn their way to the title game. I would also like to know why teams are even ranked before they have even played a game? What have they proved? Absolutely nothing. You cant even judge a team that well at this point. Basically everyone is pencilling USC into the title game at the end of September because they whopped up on a horrific Virginia team that is an underdog to Duke and an Ohio st team that may have trouble making it thru the big ten. We still have 2 months to go, people...alot can happen between now and then.
I also like how so many people use past instances of poor performances by some teams to justify why certain teams should or shouldn't be left out of championship games. Those games are pretty much irrelevant as to how a different team will perform in a different year against a different opponent. I am no Oklahoma fan by any means but to say that they should be excluded from the title game after an undefeated season just because they havent played well in recent bowl games is ridiculous. From what I have seen so far, I would have to say that the Big 12 is right there with the SEC. Putting a 1-loss SEC champ in over and undefeated Big 12 champ is a questionable decision at best and that is all the more reason for some sort of playoff system.
By the way this is all hypothetical and all of these teams still have to win the games on their schedule in the next 2+ months so lets not get ahead of ourselves here.
