ok brah, hope none of these guys needed Da Kine's services last night, Dog the Bounty Hunter might have forced a cigarrette down one of these guys' throat on the way in while giving a life lesson. 2 pretty prolific offenses here with Nevada being a little better statistically and I think they have taken their foot off the gas quite a few times during the season. will be interesting to see out Southern Miss' focus is after dealing with the Fedora drama and on top of all that, being in Hawaii. Nevada may be cursed there, but Nevada has been to Hawaii before so their coaches should have their agenda for a Hawaii trip down pat by now. Nevada has a game changer on the D line, and the pistol presents yet another offense for Southern Miss to overcome defensively, they have certainly risen to the challenge every time this year. Southern Miss creates turnovers defensively, but are also 8th in the nation in turning the ball over. I see a hungy Nevada team ready to get the Hawaii monkey off their back and a Southern Miss team that will certainly want to give Fedora a W on the way out, but I think they may not have focused that hard after their thumping of Houston and the Fedora to UNc drama. I'll take the points.

what's up men, hope everyone had a great holiday and wish everyone a very successful, lucky in 2012!
Purdue has avoided the natural "i'm a big name playing in a shitty bowl" letdown, but they sure haven't acted like it. Leading
rusher Ralph Bolden is out with a knee injury, but middle linebacker
Dwayne Beckford -- the team's leading tackler -- is suspended after his
third brush with law enforcement this year. Receiver O.J. Ross and No. 1
punt returner Waynelle Gravesande are sidelined with academic issues. Defensive
end Gerald Gooden and linebacker Will Lucas are still scheduled to
start, Hope said Monday. The two were arrested -- but not charged --
earlier this month for removing wheel locks from their cars for unpaid
parking tickets. I am not usually one to slobber over injuries, but that is some good production missing at a time when its needed. Purdue is 6-6 and just middle of the road at best and nowhere near as fast as western michigan comparing defense to offense. I just see a team that has enough ummph to get a killer instinct about themselves and go and put it to a Western Mich team that is talented, runs a hurry, no huddles and oh by the way, they are really good at it. the Boilermakers haven't won consecutive games this season. They haven't
posted a two-game winning streak since 2010, when they beat Minnesota,
then Northwestern. Purdue beat Indiana in its last game -- but is 0-5
following a victory. when the line is +/- 3, they are 1-2 SU and 2-4SU over the last 3. purdue early ups and downs had a lot to do with inconsistent QB play, but have 2 healthy ones now and will play them both. for West Mich, i just really like their grit and of course their offense. they were a little in awe in 2008 by just being in a bowl game, admittingly by some of them. now, they have a chance to go and take it to a team from the Big 10 and you know they are relishing that. They made it a point to make certain things happen and did, i.e. beating central michigan, defense rising up against miami, defense limiting akron to 21. they've had only 1 rough patch, 2 losses back to back to N Ill and Eastern. N. Illinois is no slouch as you know. they go toe to toe and lose by 3 to illinois, they score 63 and lose by 3 to toledo, They have grit and i think they are a tougher team than purdue. they have 5 legit wr, a legit hurry up offense and one of the best receivers in the nation and Carder, who is healthy, has more weapons than him. they have been very successful this year from an individual and team standpoint. neither defense has been anything to speak of, they avg nearly the same amount in terms of scoring, but purdue certainly played some teams that were inept as can be at the offense point, ohio st included. 2 good offenses they played in michigan and wisconsin both got double digit wins. I like the way they have played all year, they are not in awe of this bowl game, and they have bred success amongst each other this season and I think that will show today, They are the better team and did not have a hiccup while waiting for this bowl game to have a good handful of their talent not being able to pay.

what I was wondering is how much does the non confrence record play into it ,What worries me is Purdue s winning record against the MAC the non confrence games. Because of that against the public and taking the under.

I liked Louisville this year and I thought their defense played very well, but i think this night will belong to nc state. in basically a home game here in charlotte, they are more experienced than louisville as a team, O'brien has much more hc and bowl experience than strong, and i think glennon is overall a better qb than the freshman bridgewater. nc state is rolling, that comeback against maryland game them a ton of confidence, have won 5 of 7 and can stuff the run and take the ball away when it gets put in the air and when bridgewater does put it in the air, his best wr won't be there. I think the air favors the wolfpack here.
