a little insight into the Houston team. Last year the young Freshman QB got thrown into the mix way before he was ready using only 1/3 of the playbook he still put up huge numbers. This year he bulked up from 195 to 220lbs of muscle and now has 100% of the Case Keenum playbook under his belt. Of watching 30+ years of high scoring Houston Football, this is by far the most talented group of UH receivers i have ever seen. The 3rd ward Defense was not lucky but just very aggressive and attacking towards going after the ball. Texas A&M's defensive MVP transferred here and is ready to take the D to a level it has never seen. Jump on these guys early before the books catch on to this sleeper of a team. Good Luck!

Thanks Brian!  Great Info!   Houston could be a top 10 team this season, if the OL gels, and if the D improves as much as some folks think they will. 

BTW - I was at the 1987 60-40 Houston defeat of Texas at the Astrodome.     I was 18 at the time.   My cousin's HS coach was on the UH staff.  I sat in the Houston football parents sections, in Chuck Weatherspoons seats (he was from California and thus his tickets were available).   I was rooting in vain for my Horns to come back, but they did not.    The other parents were checking my tickets due to my lack of loyalty at the time the Coogs.    I am now a fan!  Cheers!

Agree and disagree on some.. Really like Nebraska, USC, Baylor, and LSU.. Opposite on FSU (stated earlier).. Bama line is a tad bit too high for me, looking for around 24.. No play for me.. But I can see Bama just smashing WVU to make a statement.. Saben likes to run up the score on Power 5 teams.. Hawaii should be better this year, but not touching that game.. This could also be the last year of Hawaii football.. Could be something that effects the players..
