Miami @ Duke

So....
Duke vs Northwestern everyone was pretty sure Northwestern was gonna win. Double digit fav. Lost

Duke vs Baylor people still believed in Baylor at this point. double digit fav. another straight up win for duke.

Duke vs UNC again majority thought UNC at home in rival game would get it done. another straight up win for Duke

None of these teams run the ball effectively. None of these teams have a very good defense. None of these teams have shown themselves to be of any high quality.

Now you come to Friday night. Those plucky underdogs that the public has been watching win straightup for 3 weeks are against a rusty Miami team @ home......
This is a setup

Miami is the better team. Dont be fooled by Toledo game.
-Miami was down 16-10 at half. Yes they were rusty from the long layoff with the hurricane stuff but they woke up at halftime and won 2nd half 42-14
-Toledo is pretty good. Logan Woodside is a legit NFL QB prospect and his offense is pretty damn good.
-Miami RBWalton rushed for 200 yards in the first quarter. Walton goes down early 2nd.... Miami offense sputters 2ndquarter.... walton comes back 3rd quarter and its game over.

Miami offensive line/rb will be best Duke will have faced to this point. The Miami front 7 will be best Duke have faced to this point as well.

I feel like Toledo game was a good wake-up call and tuneup for facing this Duke team. Woodside is arguably as good as Daniel Jones, if not, better. Duke wont find much running room against this front 7. They are FAST and make plays. Im seeing public pounding Duke and I see the line trickling higher..... Miami gets back big play reciever for this game as well.

Historically, Miami owns Duke and the BlueDevils dont do very well in this type of situation. This Miami team was a favorite to win ACC coastal before the hurricanes forced a couple bye-weeks on them. Seems like national media and joe public have forgotten about them a little bit and see Duke as a live dog here.....

I believe at the end, UNC was favored to win vs Duke last week 

looking at the #s GWis both these teams are ats crushers and both have out gained their opponents every game this year . Miami hasn't been tested yet . I'm reluctant to lay 6 , 6- otr to a team that is undefeated and its Miami's first road game .

i do see your point about a  rested forgotten talented well coached team being pent up and putting a pounding on somebody . guess I would like to see them do it once to a good team otr . Hope its this week .

Jones has been sacked 9 times and hit 44 times.... both ranking near bottom.... NOT GOOD when going up against this Miami front 7.... I dont think Duke can run against Miami and in that scenario, Jones has to dropback 30+ times.... The secondary at Miami can be beaten but the front 7 wont give Jones much time to do it.... Duke defense has looked good but lets be honest.... UNC, Baylor, and Northwestern arent offensive juggernauts in any way so the defense hasnt really been tested.... I like Canes here

This game has Duke back door cover written all over it, Miami's play calling is keeping Duke in the game.  I haven't seen a run the last 3 possessions and Miami is up 17-6. lol  Can't believe Miami is ranked 5th in the country.
