Jefferson wants one for thumb... 5th TD of the game in 2nd half... 

I assure you, Coach O is not going into a clock grinding mode. He will keep the pedal on the medal...

What a beautiful opportunity for Coach O to rest Clyde Edwards-Helaire with a 35 point lead... If he lets Clyde get within 10 yard of his helmet I would be shocked... 

FIRST PRIZE in the Clemson - Ohio State?   You get to be totally embarassed by LSU

SECOND PRIZE in the Clemson - Ohio State game... You can go home without permanent damage to your ego.

It will be interesting. I know if I'm coaching and I have a national championship game in 2 weeks against a team like Clemson or Ohio St I'm pulling my guys and calling off the dogs as soon as I can. Seems like the smartest decision to make. But maybe he just wants to stomp Oklahoma... I don't get the reasoning behind keeping the pedal on the gas though after scoring a td here early.

Good point, but they have not faced an offense like this one. Burrow is the most accurate passer I have ever seen at this level in college football. And they have enough receivers that giving them all enough plays much be a coaches nightmare... Yes, both of the opposing teams have good defenses. Not better, but good enough. I am Georgia fan, not our best team of recent years, except, excellent defensive team this year... They destroyed us...

The placement he has on the throws is the most impressive.  The WR's make some good hand catches too but he sure helps them make it look easy

A lot of over reactions here with LSU vs Oklahoma defense.
Clemson/Ohio State are no pushovers, Sooners are.

Pressure changes any QB. If pressure is applied no time for accurate throws.

I used to sponsor a slow pitch softball team for my pizza joint...  Our league had a MERCY RULE.....  Maybe NCAA should consider one '-)

I hope my comments did make you think that I believe Clemson or Ohio State are pushovers... I do not believe that... But I do believe LSU has played a lot of quality defenses in the SEC... Say what you want.. neither of those teams even knows what an SEC defense is....

And please tell me the best offenses that those teams have seen...   I WILL WAIT, IT WILL TAKE YOU AWHILE....

10 runs after 5 innings, was on the wrong end of that for many years.  But more time to spend at the bar afterwards

I miss playing, been a few years.  Played for 15 years straight.  Nice to get on the field a couple hours a week.  They did some construction at the school we played at and the idiots paved a new parking lot over all the old light pole posts and never put them back in.

My initial response is one that I first heard on WKRP Thanksgiving Show... "I swear by God, I did not know that turkeys could not fly"

And this is not a pissing contest, I kinda thought of it as a discussion... but WTF do I know?

Had the first half over for a 1-unit play. Really expected the Sooners to show some life early and then get worn down. Sooner D stop LSU? Never. Instead the Sooners came out real tight.

Pressure is so true.   I noted on that last drive how Jalen was getting more time.   Allowed them to get that td.

I don't think LSU will "embarrass" Ohio State in the title game. They may win it, but embarrass...….no. Or even Clemson for that matter.
SEC defenses seem a little down this year, but that's maybe just my eyes.

So looking ahead, I expect a quick inflation to the opening line for LSU in the Title game with everyone grabbing them after this performance.


Speaking of this performance, a 1 loss Pac12 Champion next year will be sitting pretty for a berth in next years playoff.   This is a damning loss for the Big12 like the back-to-back Big10 shutout losses in 15 and 16
