Exception: One TIME. Against Nebraska: An 4 Play 98 yard drive that was capped with an 88 yard pass to DeAngelo Yancy.

That was called BLOWN COVERAGE (one of the only times all year Purdue took advantage of such a thing). It doesn't compare to this...

Who here doubts the transformation under Brohm thus far?

Purdue will continue to excel on the offensive side of the ball. The defense needs some work but they are most definitely better. Hell, they actually know how to tackle!

One guy in another thread warns that Markell Jones "Purdue's leading rusher is out" and to be careful.

I told him they'd use RB by committee

Purdue has used FOUR different running backs tonight...without Jones to perfection. 100 yards for their leading rusher 1.5 quarters through...

Brohm will make Blough better...no doubt. Purdue will score a bunch, but they are at least a year of off being competitive.

After last season, no more Purdue for me. Simply watching that team puts me in a bad mood.

Did he listen? No sir.

They go hand in hand gambling. Of course the line needs to be creating holes.

But with Purdue last year, you could have parted the Red Sea last year and it wouldn't have mattered. The RB's blew most of the time so yes it is about the RBs' and the QB's and the coach and the line and everything else that is different about this team.

The line opened at Purdue -4 and went to -3, where in the hell did you come up with pk/-1?????

Also, odd game. 90% of the public was on Purdue but the line reversed hard on Ohio. Some sharps got nailed.

Look at the 5dimes lines history kid. It was -1 for quite some time on that site. ALL THERE FOR THE TAKING.

No matter, in this thread when I was asked to endorse the -3 for the capping community I did so on the first page.

No one questions the line FOR MONTHS. 

But when you're up 34-7, HERE THEY COME FOR BLOOD!!!


 (a line by the way that is -2 off of the closing line of -3 NOTHING like the crazy bet online swings of up to TEN which no one questions of course, because it's not Scal)

I was just about to ask you if you played this game, assuming you had. I played the first half and couldn't figure out why the line was so low. I got it at -1. After how they played against the Cardinals? Free money.

You saw them last year. You saw them 4 years after Hazell. The stink that is attached to Purdue takes a performance like this to wear off. Now you'll see the adjustment.

A loss is a loss in squares eyes and Purdue regressed to the dreaded near pick 6 to lose last week, demons of old rearing their ugly head with Blough.

Still, I saw what you saw last week. JUST the performance vs. Louisville ALONE proved Brohm has made a massive improvement in this team.

From what i've seen in the past few weeks, even if you lose your season total bet (knock on wood) your capping would've still been spot on. From what i've seen in two games, this team completely different from last year. They believe in themselves.

Stump at this point, given that even if Blough gets injured, I have Sindelar and vice versa. And 5 RB's. So there is zero chance this isn't going over even WITH injury (which is always a precondition, and amazingly it's not here).

This team total is a winner. Signed sealed delivered. That is why I begged the forum. Pleaded with them. It was ONE meager win over the lowest possible total of 1.5 (who no one had on 5 dimes this year). Well, it's gone now. Anyhow, you got the first half so you got something out of all this. And for what? Nothing. The line was a JOKE. Only a few people believed it.

It's time to tighten up, play fewer games. Be more focused and deliver 1 or 2 winners at most. No more 7 games.

I had fun writing them up. Enjoyed researching them but it wasn't good enough at 4-3. 5-2 good. 4-3 not so much.
