Oklahomo may be the best team in the Big 12 talent wise but not record wise.  

Catchy.......I recommend you go back to school and attempt to elevate your verbal skills. You have the maturity of an 11 year old and only cause others to laugh at you while the classy KState fans and alums on this site are embarrassed by you.

I thought that KSTATES nickname of the Pussycats is a little more well deserved (no championship game appeances) than Oklahomo who has 7 AP National championships??? Kstate also has a little worse historical winning percentage than OU??? Typical KST fans...Probably pulling against OU  this weekend, when it would greatly benefit them for OU to win out  the season convincingly!!!

I still think its funny KST has a tshirt commemorating a Regular season win......says KST 24 OU 19...who does that??? Manhattan is one hell of a town!!! Takes the whole town to fill up the stadium!!! Tons of stuff to do there too...theres a taco bell and a pizza hut!!!

Before you make a comeback about what is there to do in Oklahoma.....

1) OKC thunder games

2) Riverwind casino

3) OU football

4) Nice strip joints

5) Nice downtown atmosphere with bars and restraunts

To do in manhattan KS

!) K st football

2) grow wheat

3) meet at taco bell

4) meet at pizza hut

5) go to church

Capper, as I mentioned in many other threads, it would be stupid for me not to pull for OU this weekend.  I hope they blow out ND.  Normally I wouldn't pull for Oklahomo but have to this weekend and the weeks to come.  Unless, of course, we lose to Tech.

It is also true that Kansas State has a better coach, hands down, over OU and Bill Snyder is the cream of the crop in the Big 12 along with Klein being the cream of the crop.  It is also true that OU has the best talent in the Big 12 but middle of the pack heart.  That is what I love about College Football.  The most talented football team doesn't always win.  It is a matter of heart/coaching, which OU lacks.  Therefore, I will take a team like my team, KSU over OU any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

 It's funny how stoops always has Oklahoma in talks of being n the title hunt.  I like ou this weekend, but can't help but remember how he punks out in big games.  Typically bowl games... Just saying, lotta people like ou too much.  Made me go lite on it. 1 unit.  Go Boomers!

Don't forget about going to aggieville, drink and being with good, down to earth people.  Then again, you have probably never been to Aggieville anyway.

Here's what the Sooners are doing differently this year as opposed to the past several years.

1) The Running Game - It's back. Williams has the burst and moves to take it 80 at any time. Millard from the fullback position will punish as a blocking back and then roam the flat and down the middle catching passes for long gains. His athleticism and instincts for the game are impressive.These are options Landry Jones hasn't had before. He's only had 3 intercepts this season. Why? Because if teams load up on rushing the passer they will get burned by Williams and Millard or over the top. Jones is as accurate as Bradford and when on throws lasers. If he doesn't get trapped into throwing on the run to the wrong guy ND will have a long day/night.

2) Wide Receivers - A weakness early in the season because they were all new other than Stills with the spring suspensions. Brown from Penn St has become a monster down the field and returning kicks. Stills is still making spectacular grabs for big gains. But more importantly the receiver corps has gone from almost no cohesiveness early to huge cohesiveness now.

3) Defense - Sooner defense has been pretty bad the last few years. Now Venables has been booted and Mike Stoops has transformed it. Tony Jefferson has great instincts and hits like a linebacker. Tom Wort overpowers his opposition. And the young corners are playing lights out and challenging opposing receivers and winning the battles. The D line is strong and quick and can pressure from the edges.

4) Blake Bell @ QB - The guy is a freight train near the goal line. As good as Tebow was running the football. Look out in this game when ND loads up to stop him from taking it in and he takes the snap and raises up to throw it to somebody wide open in the endzone.

5) ND Secondary - It's a weakness for them. Based on the above observations they are in danger of being picked apart and big plays will be plentiful for the Sooners.

Bottom line....this team has gelled since early in the season. ND hasn't come close to facing an offense this quick and this good. If the Sooner secondary plays like I think they will and creates the turnovers I expect...then this 38 pts turns into 45-50 and we could be looking at another Texas like game. All in spite of BGB.
