TEXAS TECH vs. OLE MISS flat out wrong !!!!

Hello people.
 
Ole Miss has what I like to refer to as an AFL type of defense. If they can break through the Tech O line with their intense pass rush it will be a VERY LONG day for Texas. Another big advantage ....... Ole Miss defense is EXCELLENT against the run.
 
They will be able to focus their efforts on Crabtree with their succes stopping the run. Crabtree will have his moments I'm sure, but not insane yardage.  
 
 
 
The line on this game in my opinion is an error  !!

Didn't Tech handle Oklahoma St and Kansas?  Didn't Tech knock off Nebraska? Didn't Tech beat Texas....something even Oklahoma couldn't do.  I don't get it! Meanwhile Ole Miss had three SEC losses in a down year for the SEC and a loss to Wake Forest.  Leach's kids will be motivated to prove they belong in a BCS game.  Tech rolls.  But good luck!

Leaning towards Ole Miss myself because I think Sneath's mobility will give Tech's D some problem.

Its not about what teams have done, its about the way these teams match up with each other. TT matched up better with Texas style than OU and TT had a better defense.

So will the wildcat and all the speedy guys Ole Miss has, they have two WR's that run in the mid 4.3 range. Shea Hodge is an absolute burner

But seriously, it's all because of the conference they play in, so people are giving OLE PISS much more credit than they deserve.

Texas Tech has played and won much tougher teams than OLE PISS...just like you said, OLE PISS lost against some bad teams...I am not going to over analyze this one...going Tech minus 3.

didn't they also almost lost to Baylor at home?  I agree Tech beat Texas but didn't they get their ass raped on national TV by Ok.

Tech has always have problem playing against smash mouth team.

I agree..........that being said, this game is by no means going to be easy for Ole Miss but thats how I see it going down !!!

Tech had beaten some pretty damn good BIG 12 teams.

If you are gauging your pick based on one game that TECH WON, then why do you not pay attention to FOUR games that OLE PISS actually lost against?

Bama beat OLE MISS 24-20.
 
OLE MISS dominated the entire 2nd half and had the ball inside the 40 of Bama with about 2 minutes to go and a chance to win the game.
 
Like Nick Saban said after the game, OLE MISS is a damn good team and my team didnt believe it before the game but now they do.

Well, if that is how you think, then you pretty much better not listen to anyone on Covers because I quite sure everyone here has picked a loser before.

Everyone is only looking at one aspect of this game:

Assuming Harold will get all the time in the world on every passing play to hit Crabtree.

Jevan Snead will be able to run and throw on that Texas Tech defense.
