I think you're wrong there, I actually do listen to other opinions and reasonings but to go around in every other thread and posted Cincy was your large play and the only reason you posted was because ACC sucks is very

I'm not saying Tech will loose, and definitely sure everyone here has lost a bet before, it's just lately it seems lately people like to come up with the funniest reason to bet on a game.

Let me explain...the books don't put up numbers that are indicative of what the final score will be, the books put up numbers that will get an equal amount of action on both sides, and as you can see there are a lot of people who give more credit to the SEC than to the BIG 12, so here you have enough OLE PISS backers to make the spread at -4.5.

I don't believe in traps, nor do I believe that Vegas has any clue how the games will end up, they just try to get equal action...hence the spread.

Hey, you know what? That was my VERY reason for betting against VT. I saw BC and GT play like such shit, that I told myself that I would bet ANY TEAM playing an ACC team today. I won one and lost one...that is why I did it...think about it, bowl betting IS about the conferences, and that is why OLE PISS is getting bets...people like to think the SEC is better than the BIG 12.

you're wrong sundream. Vegas exploits the Public all the time and you're a fool if you think otherwise. It's a crooked town and they'll do whatever they can to get over. Yeah, for the most part, they want even amount of money on each game, but they will post a spotty line if they think they're going to get a lot of square action on it. Tomorrow's game is a very high profile game that a lot of average joes will be hitting....you don't think Vegas knows this? Vegas is pulling for Ole Miss tomorrow - no doubt about it. I'll take my money and side with them. nothing is a guaranteed and Vegas takes it in the ass sometimes... but the value lies with the house. BOL to you

I, on the other do believe in trap games. Something tells me that the linemakers are willing to risk a line of only -4.5 or whatever it is now to Texas Tech while they take Ole Miss. According to SportsInsights, 72% on TT spread, and 53% on TT moneyline. As I said before, the public does not always lose, but I feel this is a fishy line and I'm not going to hop on Texas Tech. Thats pretty much all I can say. BOL on what you decide for tomorrow.

I'm not wrong. I lived in Vegas for years and I know how they operate. They create a spread to get equal amounts of action on both sides so they make the juice. Vegas does not gamble, they only bet on sure things, and the only sure thing for a book is to have equal amounts of action on both sides, period. case closed.

I know the conspiracy theories out there, but I don't believe any of them. I don't even believe in fixed games for the most part..shitty calls and a few crooked fucks but that is about it.

Where Vegas makes their money is on huge parlay cards and prop bets...that's how they clean up, not on tricking the public, lol.

And how do they do that? Do all the linesmakers have a conference call or something? BTW, it was one pick and I said yesterday I would bet against any ACC team today because of the HORRIBLE play by BC and GT, sometimes I use in depth research when I bet (Michigan State/UAB for instance), and sometimes I do something as simple as bet against a conference which is one of the most COMMON reasons people use to bet bowl games, or did you just start wagering yesterday?

either way Vegas put them out there at 2 or 3 points higher than they are now.

The only thing Im concerned with is the high % of public is on TT and it dropped that much

If they drop it, they can sway more people on TT cuz it just looks to good bc people only watch ESPN... TT has been on there all year in primetime for people to watch.
