Just can't pull the trigger on aa team like Wake. They won only 3 games last season .Presbyterian - Duke ,and Vandy..Their defense gave up 35.8 points per game . Their QB had 7 td passes and 8 int. ATS as a road dog they were 1 and 5 . In 2006 when Wake played Cuse at home they won ,but didn't cover. That year they only gave up 15.4 ppg on defense now last season they gave up 35.8.
Cuse won 8 games last season and covered them all ATS. Including USF - W.Va. - Cincy - Rutgers - and Kansas St in the Pinstripe bowl . Defense only gave up 19.3 ppg.
So I'll stick with the orange team.
i follow syracuse sports pretty closely, y'all. i'd love to predict an easy win/cover for them against wake forest next week, but i am nervous about them. summer camp has been a war of attrition -- lots of significant injuries. and there are sure to be suspensions handed down for some stupid things that have been done too. i believe that if syracuse covers this game, it's going to be that "wake lost", not that "syracuse won".
i'm staying away, but if i were forced to bet this one i'd take wfu +7.
