I figured this game would open around 4 td's, which it did, but quickly shot up to 5. THE Oregon St. lost their top 2 qb's last week. I had entertained the idea of taking the Beavs + points but now I'm leaning towards the Huskies. CP isn't a guy to run it up on purpose, but I can't see him reigning them in that much. I'm still pondering this one.....

I took the +35 because I have been winning on the Beavers and I am not getting off their train. If I win this one I am going to need some mercy or incredible luck. Never know maybe something could happen its a ton of points. I don't feel good about it but I have made worse plays.
Good luck!

I hate unders more than fat women but how will this game go over 56.5? With OSU having no QB how will they mount drives on that Washington defensive line? this game has 35-6 written all over it doesn't it?

The Beavers aren't good...UW is a legit top 5 team.
OSU's offensive line is one of the nation's worst....that was a weak spot before all of the injuries, now it is an undersized mash unit. Against UW D, that ain't good.
Will be very surprised if the Beavs score more than 10 points.

Wahoo:
The Beavs are bad, and hurt, and probably won't get more than 10 points. But UW is good and rested and they will not hold back- they are exercising the demons of being mediocre the last 10 years (see 70 points again Oregon). Jake Browning is (hilariously) appearing on Heisman watch lists and you better believe Chris Petersen wants him to pad the stats here.
Huskies can name their number and they will.
59-10.

GL bro......I laid 32 when it popped and feel it is good at 35 personally......when the first half line comes out, I will be hitting that too...can't see the UW not being up 4 Tds in the first.....should be 21 1/2 or 22 if the line stays at 35......will gladly lay those points....the banged up Beaver offense much worse than the Idaho and Rutgers offenses we saw earlier.
The only worry about game spread is CP just basically taking a knee the entire 2nd half.....he has admitted he feels a bit bad about laying 70 on Helfrich

I agree with most of this, except the padding the stats thing. CP has pulled Browning, & most of the starters for that matter, for the entire 4th qtr of many games this season (Browning went out with 13 mins. left vs Oregon). Oregon wants to run the hurry-up all game long, & with their recent history of running up scores a coach has to make sure they're in the clear before calling off the Dawgs. Hell, the Huskies could've hung a C note on them if they wanted to. But that's not the case for this game. My initial worry was this could be a let-down spot, & it may still be. But with the Beavs in such dire shape health wise, I think a 56-10 type game is likely. If OSU tries to run all day (there's talk of putting Collins back at qb), & the Huskies do the same vs their porous run D, then the over would be a nail biter. I still think the Huskies will put up a lot of points......they'll do what they do. The concern would be if they're up 42-0 going into the 4th qtr.........lots of running to follow. I had to lay 35.5..........undecided on the total but am leaning over.

I couldn't get that #........had to wait on my local. I agree about the 1st half play, which is another play I'll make when I can. I know CP isn't a guy to run it up.........but Oregon wouldn't back off the hurry-up. You'd think Helfrich would have a clue that his hurry-up offense is doing his weak defense no favors. I might play the over in every remaining UO game. Good luck this week, bro

ok I get it, as I said, I don't like unders anyhow
I think this one goes under but I won't bet, I'll leave the total to you guys
UW should win easy, I'd prob be more likely to lean first half than game as I don't see CP pouring it on once he's up 30 ish , he's a class dude and couldn't help it against Oregon
I like this Washington squad, I'd put them 1 and Wazzu 2 in the Pac12, that is quite strange to type

No, but Ore St runs the ball all the time which will chew up clock, unlike Oregon. And Washington wanted to pay back Oregon for running up the score the last several games. I think Washington will take their foot off the gas up 35 in the second half ( but you never know).

The Oregon score was as bad as it was partly because Oregon insists on running no-huddle....... consequently, their offense was 3&out a couple times within a minute which just gave UW more possessions.......& you can't start kneeling on it in the 3rd qtr. THE OSU could do the opposite & drain the clock every snap. Tricky situation........there's a fine line between style points & running it up on an injured opponent, which I know CP has no intention of doing. I think jimmy mo has the right idea in playing the 1st hf. But, as you say thorpe, you never know. The Ducks couldn't really stop the UW back ups either.

No Qb for beavers but they can run the ball. They will drain the clock like duke did against louisville but they will have to get an early score or two in the first half to continue draining. 35 is a lot of points in the game but washington will try to run up the score but to do this successfully they must stop oregon states run. how is washingtons run d?
