Thanks for the info - makes sense. Not having a local anymore I miss those days sometimes.
Like the fact that you kept LSU and SC as I'm biased towards those for my own reasons. Good philosophy on sticking with only those you like the most. I'll even pay $25-30 juice if I have to a few times a year if I have to. GL on the ticket.
i like lsu and sc as well, im now getting lsu -18.5 and taking other side of sc game due to qb injury and taking 30 pts, i think they will run the ball alot and chew up clock time, although with new rule change could be in most of the chalk favs. gl i enjoy watching your posts...

GL. I like the picks. I am not going to play the UNLV/Utah St or KSU/AU games though. I see AU beating up on KSU. Tubby will have them prepared for this one, unlike the GT opener a couple of years ago. He learned his lesson with that one. AU's D is very underrated. I see them creating a lot of problems for KSU, especially with their speed. I can easilly see a score like last years opener vs. Wash St. If it does end up like that, look for next weeks line against USF to be inflated. I think that is where AUs real test is going to come. Just my thoughts.

My plays for what they are worth. I use a local. All for (-110) and 1 unit, unless specified. I got a little overzealous on the # of plays due to the anticipation of the season. I would like to know your opinion.
Miami Oh +6 ULM +6 LSU -16.5 Kent St +4 Syracuse +3 VT -24 Mich St -19 (3 units) Duke +6.5 Neb -21 Iowa -11.5 (2 units) Wisky -14 GT +3 (3 units) Mizzou -5.5 Zona +5.5 Akron -5.5 (placed before I found out about the suspensions) Texas -41 SC -28.5 Cal -4.5 NM -3 FSU -3

I assume he thought it was going up and wanted to lock in. Eight times in ten he's right. Nine times in ten it doesn't matter. This was the 10th time. I feel dirty cashing at 6.5 based purely on his play, which he didn't get. As I'm fairly certain WahooS' life is a million times better than mine, I'll try not to lose sleep.

it opened at -9 my friend, that is when I initially took it based off the fact that QB Rocky Hinds (former USC transfer) was back healthy and looking good, then it was announced that Hinds was injured in practice and would not start the game, as soon as that happened the line went way down immediately, this was one of the times that betting early bit me in the backside, there is no way for me to predict that they will lose their starting QB to injury in practice, I had no choice but to keep the bet because the line has changed so much, that is part of the risk you take when betting early, same strategy that got me LSU -16 last night and everyone else had -18

Buddy what's up? hope you've had a good summer. i went back to university to finish my degree if you can believe that..was actually a good time hanging with the 20 something crowd again. i have one more course to do this fall.
just getting back into capping now. don't know why i didn't take LSU last night; they look like a beast of a team this year.

Actually glad to hear of the KSU back-out, as I don't know what to make of the game - considering the under. Because my retirement plan is to tail you for the next 20 years, I am required to play all posted picks, and I hadn't locked KSU yet, as I figured that number would creep up toward kickoff.
