well I may end up taking Mizzou on game day but for now I just wasn't comfortable with the bet the more I looked at the game, I just can't get a good feel for Illinois, that is why I chose to get out for now, I need to get a better read on the Illini before messing with that game
as far as the matchups go I agree with all of them at first glance except for the Tulsa game, I would be on the Golden Hurricane there or pass
How does Tennial's availability factor into the equation if at all, for you?
I think of him as being a significant piece.

I think his senior leadership is important, but I just can't get over the obstacle of Louisiana Monroe having inferior players, this will probably be a no play, but there is no way I could back Monroe under any circumstance, Tulsa is just better (not really another way to put it in my opinion), there are far better games out there though, I like South Carolina and Iowa the most so far out of my plays, I can't see either of them not covering so I'm glad you agree on those, hopefully we can go 2-0 with those two

do you sill feel confident with the cocks now that mitchell and cook are suspended?
i know people in columbia are excited about the talent of the young qbs
i also think the sc defense will be stout as spurrier said several of the returning starters have lost their starting jobs to underclassmen, definitely a good sign you're improving and great to have experienced guys in the game late to defend against a backdoor cover

the suspension doesn't even phase me, I feel just as confident as I did before, the South Carolina defense is my main reason for playing this game anyhow, I don't see Laffy being able to put together drives with a new QB and a bad offense, I think the Cocks will win by 40 plus here with no problems

Wahoo - K-State sucks on the road. Only 3 road wins
the last 3 years! Have not beat a ranked team on the road
since '03 at Nebraska. I'm on Auburn -13.
I can't argue that they haven't won alot of road games in recent years, but I'm betting on this year's team bro and I'm not betting them to win, I'm betting them to cover a two touchdown spread

bro, which of these plays if any do you agree with:
Oregon - the points
VT - the points
TT - the points
MSU - the points
Cal - the points
Utah + the points
ND/GT under the total
Akron/Army under the total
no real opinion on either total, but I would lean with you on every one of those sides if I were betting those games, I might add a couple of those myself, damn, we are certainly on the same page for week 1, I hope that is a good thing

Gar, I have been waiting on a better line for the Oregon game, their sporatic QB play has me somewhat concerned, but I can't help but think Houston will struggle with a first time starter in that atmosphere, what is your take on that game?

I know Mr. Paggs is gonna disagree with this, but I just can't help but see anything other than a total blowout. I REALLY want 14 or less though. Dixon is looking great at this point. He will be the starter and should do really well. Its night and day in there between he and Leaf. Stewart has gained some speed and the most stark contrast of all has supposedly been Colvin. We have been waiting for about 3 years for him to breakout and this could be the year as he looks quicker and more muscular than ever before. Our receivers are he best in the conference other than Cal and we'll probably give Michigan's defense fits let alone Houston.
USC and Cal folks will disagree and that's fine, but I think we have the best offensive skill position players in the conference. JS is the best back bar none, our WRs are almost on par with Cal's and better than USC's, and Dixon although not the pocket passer of either Booty or Lonshore is equal in leadership and much more mobile. I wish we had the Trojans OL though as our group will be good, not great. The defense is...well it is what it is. Its a Ducks defense, usually ok but never the strength of the team. Return game looks great, kicking game looks dicey.
The teams that most remind me of us would be Kentucky, Missouri, and Oklahoma State. We are a shade better than that group mostly due to coaching, but the similar team structure is in play.

now we are talking Gar, I wanted to know the QB situation especially since it seemed like there were issues a while back with Dixon and baseball and lack of football practice, I want the same line as you, but I will be willing to take 14 if I have to, Oregon was a lean of mine for about a week now, but I wasn't ready to pull the trigger just yet, I think I am much closer to doing so now, thanks my friend

Waiting patiently on 14 on this game as well but also wanted to hear something about Dixon.
The reports about his play in practice have been that positive Gar? If so, I might say fuck it to waiting on 14. If Dixon has his freaking stupid head screwed on straight, 14 will be a moot point in this game.

They say that he has gelled with the new OC for what that's worth. Does that mean he is going to be a world-beater or does that simply mean he understands the offense conceptually? I don't know. I will let you know Saturday night. LOL
14 is a lot better than 14.5, you both know why so I won't say anymore about that.
wahoo, i'm going to bed now, but send me an email if you would. thanks
