SO....what TF is this anyway you might say....?I AM NOT GUESSING AT THE OPENING LINES    * I take what I have...check around (Bill C / Gold Sheet / Sagarin / Massey)...and come up with what I consider to be...a &#x27;fair betting line&#x27;How is it useful?......USUALLY THE LINE MOVES IN THE DIRECTION I SUGGEST......that&#x27;s all.................  * not every time....early in the year it&#x27;s tough...later only a few go the other way.....I make no effort to put an inflated  line on blow-outs BTW.....        Since I&#x27;m early doing this....  * otherwise late Saturday / Sunday morning............You can make your own adjustments.....NOW.....USC (should) be favored by 14 or so  vs Texas.....IMOBUT.....USC struggles with Tree...or loses / Horns murder SJSU....maybe a 2 pt adjustment for a Trojan loss....1 pt for Texas....now making a fair line around 10 or soIF.....Horns look like crap again / USC spanks Tree.....then maybe 16-17 or so ...............get it ????KEY?......is making small (1-2...maybe 3) pt adjustments.....trusting your research / numbers....avoiding knee jerk reactions....  * sure....some teams FORCE you to make BIG changes fast.....like Colorado last year.....but most do notnote:  sammich games listed  eg.  * ND- Ga / @ Sparty        * BC - WF / @ Clem*  Irish had Georgia last week....they have Mich St on deck * Boston  College had Wake last week (got beat ha)....at Clemson next week
