see..... my statement is funny. Why? Nobody from the A&M side would care about that, they know there defense sucks....
But you inbred SEC fans get mad and protect each other from statements like that.... it really makes you mad that A&M put up almost 700yds of offense, doesn't it....
No it doesn't. The better team won, yards and points don't matter unless you win. I'm glad they got the cover for you, so you can go ahead and hang your hat on that. Just as you say we defend the SEC you are a complete anti-SEC narcissistic blowhard. Enjoy the rest of the season.

The better team won? Why? Because that's the argument you want to make? I thought when Clemson beat LSU last year the better team lost?
You guys are so easy to pick apart....

I wonder if the SEC family is mourning the azzwhippin the Ducks put on one of their breathren, or are they only "conference lovers" when Bama wins a big game. All joking aside, the trolls should banish themselves for a week from your thread, Boom. They have no legs to stand on this week.

They will make a argument somehow or another to make there argument right...
See, when you deal with these SEC homers.... they hate it when you use facts in a debate....it confuses them.
I'm currently working on a project with a tee shirt company that will produce shirts with 14 teams on it..... Something on the lines of
WE LOVE EACH OTHER....ALL 14 OF US

Clemson won, what else do you want? They scored more points and deserved to win. Find where I said the better team lost, or tell me why a bowl game from last year has anything to do with this conversation You can't piece together comments from different ppl and expect to be taken seriously. You write what you think is a witty comment and then say you're picking me apart.
When I said enjoy the rest of the season I planned on staying away from your inaccurate bullsh*t threads. But don't comment, try to make yourself out to be an all world poster and not expect me to reply.
Enjoy the rest of the season

Just remember when it comes to NC the sec owns this $hit
Right now they do, but look over the history of college football and you'll see that it won't always be that way. Imagine.......the University of Texas throws $10 million a year at Saban.....after all, he is on his 4th job in the last 14 years, right?

And has a buyout of less than $3 million.....nobody has more money that UT.....not to say Saban would leave or Texas would offer,,,,,but I can assure you that buying out Mack doesn't concern them a bit.

Just don't think they'll get rid of him anytime soon.
University of Texas regents voted unanimously Thursday to extend coach Mack Brown's contract by four years to the end of the 2020 season.
"It is important to us to have Mack Brown as our football coach as long as we can," Texas president Bill Powers said. "And this is an expression of that."
The extension, which was pushed through by athletics director DeLoss Dodds to quell rumors of Brown's job stability, calls for Brown to continue to be paid his current $5.2 million salary with annual $100,000 raises. Brown, 60, is currently the highest paid coach in college football.

This all went down before the BYU game.....things have changed dramatically since then. I hope you're right.......as an OU fan I hope he gets a lifetime deal.

Bama's issue is their secondary. They don't have that lockdown corner they have had in recent years. Now clearly the Bama D will get better as the year goes on. Also, they won't play a better mobile QB/elite WR combo this season. Obviously they need work against a spread offense team. They haven't faced a good one the past 2 years outside of A&M at all. Should Bama run the table to the championship game? Yes. Will they? Most likely. But when and if they get there, will they finally face a spread offense, or will it be another dominating Defensive championship against a team that needs to run the ball to be successful and won't be able to do it against Bama?
Oregon will be there if they beat Stanford
Ohio St needs to win out and both Clemson and Oregon need to lose
Clemson needs 2 very big wins(FSU, SC) and an Oregon loss
Only 3 teams that have a legitimate shot at a national title appearance that can give Bama a problem on D
I honestly think Bama would destroy Ohio St, but Meyer can coach
Other 2 I can see giving Bama a hell of a game

What I've noticed is that Alabama usually allows the opponent to let their best strengths to show themselves. For example, Va Tech's strengths are (always have been) special teams and defense. I noted 4 sacks of McCarron, no run game, and they scored a special teams TD on Ala. In the A&M game, as you pointed out, the strength of their QB was plain to see. Johnny Manziel needed to pitch a perfect game, as the A&M defense had no big stops in them. A&M scored at will. When playing LSU, the Tigers' defense shines, and Bama struggles to make plays; when playing Georgia, Murray puts up great numbers...and so on. But Bama comes out on top. So Alabama does not smother anyone with dominance. They don't take away another team's strengths. I think they roll with the punches and find their own strengths to gain scoreboard. If they played Oregon, the pattern would continue. The Ducks would roll up big numbers and make some quick under 2 min drives on Bama. The Ducks would need to make big plays on defense to get scoreboard on Bama. You have to be poised late in games, or McCarron will be fisting once again and making his 'airplanes' after TDs.. Coach Satan is hard to like, the program is paying players, but the program is fiercely defended by lawyers and fans who've already gone thru a painful death penalty from the NCAA. Back to the point-- this allowing the opponent some kind of space to show themselves is a sign of a dismissal of the opponent. Bama was clearly uncomfortable with A&M's fast pace, and Oregon will most likely find ways to put up 40+ on Bama. I don't think Yeldon runs so easily on Oregon. So it is all on McCarron. That should be the gameplan: Make McCarron the one to beat us. THAT would be the checkmate....gameover for Alabama.

Good job Boom! Was fortunate to go 8-5-1 myself this week. Would have been much better if I didnt Push on that Bama game at -7. Was on Oregon. Tenny allowing all those rush yards previous week and getting gift turnovers on top of having to play at Autzen? Too much. Good luck this week. Love the "10 things..." Get it this week Boom! Faak the trolls!

Dude, I agree 100% about the TCU situation - and I'm the last person to ever suspect such a thing. I think a few years from now something could actually come about this, similar to AZ State hoops debacle from early 90's (somebody talks).
Remember the Kansas game last year?
I didn't watch the game. But what was affected by the game? TTech still covered. The game still went under. Nothing seems to have been affected by the horrible calls.
If things were truly "fishy", shouldn't the results have changed?
