Do you think that the game being on a Thursday has any affect on this line?  I feel like it would be higher if it was a Saturday game.  I really want to pound Clemson this week, but for some reason I feel like Thursday night games never go the way they should. 

Thoughts?

So now I am a hater and a troll? And to quote you "I have forgotten more about this game then you will ever know"- That is the funniest thing I have ever heard. I played Div. I football and coached at the JUCO level. Yet, you think you have the greatest football mind ever. It just proves my point that you are an egotistical jerk. It's okay for you to constantly trash, LSU, Les Miles, and the SEC in general. Yet, when someone calls you out for what you are then you break out the "haters and troll" comment. You sent me a PM asking me what my problem was and I told you. Yet, you continued acting like a jerk. You can have all the opinions in the world. So can others and you can't accept that. I can talk football and quit the bashing, how about you do the same!

Have you seen NC State play this year? I did see them play a horrible La. Tech team and while they looked ok, I just can't see them keeping this game against Clemson within 2 touchdowns. Thursday night dogs have a history of getting the cover, but Clemson is too fast and too talented in my opinion. Good luck!

blowout- NC State isn't as potent as Clemson on the offensive side of the ball, however, they have a big body QB who should cause that weak Clemson D some fits. NC States OL is actually pretty strong too, which is where I see the main advantage for NC. Clemson is a hell of a team no doubt about it, but laying two TDs on a Thursday night on the road usually = . Along with that, Clemson will be a huge public play. NC State has played Clemson tough before. I'm taking the points with this home dog on a Thursday night and won't be surprised at an upset

Good information. Guess I'll have to pay to see N.C. State cover. I think the Clemson defense is a little better than most think. Georgia made them look worse than they really are. Good luck.

I will always root for my horns, but if the football gods see us getting beat this week to Kansas st as a 6 point favorite, I won't complain...its time to send mack brown out to pasture and get some new blood and energy in Austin!

I am on Clemson on Thur, and I am not worried.  if this were Clemson 2004 or 2007, then of course, no play...

I think this team is different.   they have a swagger and a confidence.   I think they know that their fans and their wager backers believe they are going to choke.   I think they play disciplined football on Thursday night, make a play for bcs voters and get boyd to his rightful place as a high caliber Heisman candidate...plus, NC State seems to be a year or two away from being a spoiler much less a ACC contender...

                      Ten Things We Learned


1. Where else could we start other then the big game in college station? So, did you watch that game Bama lovers? Did you actually watch the game? Because I need to know if saw Johnny Football torch that defense or not. He torched it to the tune of 562 total yds himself. The team had 628 yds. Now, let's re-cap a bit here. Does the greatest defense in the country give up 628 total yds? I'm asking because I thought defenses like this would never allow such a thing. Or maybe when I stated that the " game is changing " I got a alot of responses like defenses win championships nonsense. Look guys, having a great defense is key to winning any game or any championship. But this game that is played today. Isn't played like that so much anymore. Remember this headline : Bama wins shootout. Now tell me the game isn't changing.

2. I think we need to discuss the Texas Tech / TCU game. Wow, was that game not fishy or what? What the heck was going on? I know alot of you don't like to talk about games being " fixed ". But this game had " fixed " all over it. What was the deal with the fumble in the endzone all about? What and why were the refs trowing flags only after big plays were made? I love this game, but I'm not naive either.

3. Michigan IMO deserved to lose that game yesterday. There is no way anyone can convince me that PI shouldn't have been called on that last play. What was Michigan doing? I'm not sure I have ever been on the wrong side of play that bad before. -37 was a joke. Akron played theses guys tooth and nail all the way to the end. I will say this, Akron's clock management was horrible. I'm not sure what the heck was going on there. Another thing. Boy does Terry look old. Or maybe I'm getting old.

4. I think if I'm a Nebraska fan it's time for a change. How in the world could any Nebraska team from any era accept this as OK? This defense is the biggest joke in all of college football and it's getting worse. UCLA scored 38 straight I think to finish the game? How? What and how? The " Pelini " is over IMO. Nebraska football has become a joke and needs to fixed ASAP. College football is embarrassed for this once proud program.

5. I think I were voting for the top 25, Oregon would get my #1 vote this week. I think this has been the most impressive team so far this season. They are not just beating teams, there destroying them. I know they haven't played the best of the best yet. But still, this team looks unstoppable. I would not be surprised to see this team go all the way this year and win out. They look the part that's for sure.

6. No Braxton no problem. I guess alot of people would look at this game and say..... Ohio st isn't any good. They dont play defense up there in that league. LMAO. Did ya watch CBS yesterday around 3:30? I could only imagine what either Bama or A&M would do to Florida. LOL. Yeah Florida didn't play yesterday.... but I still had to get that plug in.

7. What happened in the Wisconsin / ASU game? I only seen the highlight . Did he really go place the ball on the ground? What was he thinking? Why were they running a play that wasn't a play towards the endzone? Gary Anderson is a much better coach then that. Im not sure what happened. Did he go to the school of Les Miles coaching?

8. I'm so glad they didn't toss HA HA yesterday in the Bama / A&M game. This game, is getting way too soft. I'm for player safety, but this is out of control. The game is a rough tough sport. Injuries are gonna happen. Players are gonna get hurt. This is the game of football. It's going to happen! I just hop there is some sort of happy medium that will come out of all this. The game doesn't need to be changed IMO.

9. I nominate S. Florida the worst football team in the country. Any team that gets bet by Double Digits to Florida Atlantic at home should shut the football program down and never play again. What the heck has happened in S. Florida? I like Coach Taggert. I think he is a good coach. But the truth is he is in a death trap down there. Who would win? UMASS or These Clowns?

10. Week 3 is in the books men and trolls. I need to point something out real quick. What is the deal with all the trolls on this site? Why doesn't the mods do anything about it? I got trolls asking/harassing me last year about why do I post Units. So I said, well.... I will just post plays from here on out to stop any confusion or any problems in general. But it never stops. I got clowns and trolls in my thread again asking why I dont post how much I playing on each game. Does it matter? Does it really matter? I post a play. Use it or fade it, it's that simple. I dont post on this site how much my bankroll is. Why? All the clowns would do is find something else to bitccchh about. To be honest, the trolls are embarrassing themselves. It really is funny.

I agree Boom. Although Pitt got blown out think they looked decent against FSU. Winston is just ridiculous and the Pitt QB can make some throws...
