This is essentially the problem with America... too many people who will be "homers" no matter what their country does... I can't comprehend that mentality!
Loyalty is a two-way street... people need to start holding this country to a MUCH higher standard...
As someone who has spent time in 40 countries on 6 continents... I can tell you unequivocally... the US is no longer the greatest country in the world... probably not even top 10!
Of course this is wrong---I have been all over the world and in many countries and there are a lot of good ones. we are far and away the best by almost any measure.

Lol, so you are the best country in the world because you helped Europe about 70 years ago? And cuz you have the most powerfull army in the world? Don't get me wrong I like the US, I have travelled from New York to Miami by a car for three weeks, I like your sports but at this point you are not the greatest country in the world.. There are a lot of things you can learn from European countries tbh.
Who is greatest then?

But who here other than him and TRAIN can get most of you knuckleheads worked up enough to express you thoughts so dramatically and with such passion....guys like CHIHAWKS 1? not hardly!
I don't have to agree with Boom, or Train, but theirs only a handful of guys in here that can get 5 to 10 pages of responses or more.
You can be hatters or friends.......the point is, I'd rather have these guys than not......and if you didn't want them, why are you even lending your opinions in there threads?
If you didn't respond, they would just fade away like a plant with no water.
See you next Monday in here...

I honestly don't see how any American could not look at the chaos and misery and just plain brutality going on in most of the rest of the world and not feel VERY appreciative of what we have here. And the reason we have it so good here is because our fathers and grandfathers and great grandfathers wanted this good life for us and had the balls to fight for the right to live free. The freedom we have does not come easy. How could anyone living here thumb their nose at it?
And also, we are the only country that plays big time college football. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else just for that reason :)
Great Post !

GL Boom. I like your clemson boys this week as well. What are your thoughts on FIU? They used to be horrific. Well actually they are still quite bad, but ATS friendly. Can they cover 26 at home?

Guys, I was joking a quoting Bill Maher Politically Incorrect about this been the greatest country in the world. You guys know Imnan Auburn alum, but u probably didn't know I served as Operations Specialist 2nd class one tour and did a ton of sea time with 2south pac deployments in South America&/Carribean and being involved in the biggest drug bust on water until that date right around Cuba.I did a West PAC in Asia,Africa& United Arab Emirates..Got to see a lot of the World. As I still talk to a few of my fraternity brothers ..I'm much closer to my USS Cleveland LPD 7 shipmates.Although Auburn was incredible the Navy was even more incredible.I wanted to reenlist, but I wanted to follow my dad & grandfather ( dad was in army sent home because of Asthma,Grandad went to Naval Academy decided he didn't want to be an officer was Admiral's Aid in Pearl Harbor then went to GaTech before graduating from Auburn)at Auburn.I went to Auburn right out of high school was bored dropped out ,did my tour as 4.0/Sailor getting numerous awards ,got 2 years of night school before transferring back to Auburn graduating in 29/months kicking behind and taking names.I love my country.I visited Nether Antilles( Curacao- the most beautiful place I've ever been)back in 2010/for a couple of months, but Covers won't let me change my location.I love this country and where I've been we live the life of Riley. So if I offended folks my apologies to all.

Its a shame cause this thread has the potential to provide a lot of information and the opprotunity to debate college football. What this forum is for. Instead, it has become a political debate and bashing the poster for why his opinions are wrong because he likes a team more then the next team. And the was at page 3 when i stopped reading. Who knows what i missed.
Isnt that the benefit of debating with fans all over the country? To get input from fans who may be able to provide intel privy to someone from a local perspective. Then comes the rebuttle, then the debate follows, which is where information is gathered. O well. I guess this isnt the thread for me.
