HoustonSports seems like a good guy. But, he is so far up Scalabrine's rear, I think he knows what he had for breakfast this morning!
He is a good guy.. but I suppose the reason it's not being moved is that its informative.. YES , it may be in wrong forum but it's up to our discretion to determine if it's a problem or not.. the only problem I see is the negative comments and bashing but that has nothing to do with the thread it has more to do with the person who created it.. hopefully that stops because we are trying to clean up the bashing.. if a mod thinks the thread becomes a problem then it will be moved..
So in closing let's please stop all the negative comments..

You guys may want to look at Magny also. Hendricks missed weight and looks like absolute garbage. Magny might pick him apart and may even get the late tko. Hendricks lost that KO power once USADA came into play.

scal i love your football and basketball picks but if you didnt already knew that, you shouldnt be capping a fight where she is on... yeah i know you were on the rock bottom angle but cmon
I knew it in general of course. I just saw some extra analysis that came out this week from respected figures in the sport that really explained by Nunes was a dog. And we get her as a dog. That's all.

You just cannot compare this fight to her fight against Holm. She was way too comfortable with her status, she was out of shape, and not in her comfort zone, fighting in Australia. The stars aligned for Holm and she took advantage of it. Rousey has probably never been more determined and serious about a fight than she is for this fight. And the UFC clearly wants Rousey to win this fight for obvious reasons and they believe that her not doing any media will probably help her do so. Focusing only on the fight is definitely a major plus, not having to answer questions about the past year, the fight with Holm, etc. She's in amazing shape and has no excuses except if Nunes is the better fighter. I think catching Rousey at -140 for this fight win or lose is amazing value with the reasons I just stated. Could she lose? Yes, obviously, it's a fight, but I love where her head seems to be at, the experience, the motivation, and I believe she gets it done in the 1st. Good luck tomorrow night. May the best chick win.

Also, for those that are interested in post weigh-in thoughts...
Hendricks looked like a mess during media day yesterday trying to lose the weight and did not make weight again. Magny looked great. Line already went from Magny -110 to -135/-140 ish. Love Magny tomorrow.
Smolka looked like he was about to drop dead, could barely lift his arms at the weigh-in, while Borg missed weight, but looked okay. Borg looks like a nice bet too.
Those were the two biggest thoughts I had from the early weigh-in. Love a bunch of a fights too, but posted them in a diff thread.

Rousey lost to Holm because Holm kept her distance and picked her apart. She has some of the best standup and footwork in the game. She made Ronda look like a amateur circling away and making Ronda damn near face plant just from circling. Had nothing to do with being over confident or not caring.

Also I agree about Magny, I posted a video a few posts up of Johnny weighing in. Might bet very, very large on Magny. I can see him just absolutely picking Hendricks apart and possibly getting the late stoppage

What you say about the current roster passing her by could be true. I think Johny Hendricks is in a similar boat, Neil Magny (-120) is a real live dog on the undercard of 207 imo.
Told you guys to hit this way back on page 2. Price has gone up 20 cents since then, think I might throw a little more on him now.

I know this fight won't happen next year but let's assume it did. Who set these odds. Did the line maker watch the first two fights? Nate wins first by submission and Conor barely wins the second by decision (where Conor went off as a meager -135 favorite).
And now in the third fight Conor is a 2.5-1 favorite? Huh? Makes no sense to me. What am I missing?

Will someone explain this 5Dimes line?
Nate Diaz +190*
Conor -250*
(*If fight occurs before 12/31/2017).

Conor should be favored but you're right it's a little off. The only catch here would be that Nate would have to cut to 155 for this instead of fighting at 170 like their last 2 fights, advantage Mcgregor I think.
I wouldn't be shocked if this fight happened in 2017. Mcgregor probably has to fight Khabib or Ferguson, a fight between the two are rumored to be in the works. After that, a 3rd fight between Conor and Diaz could definitely happen, maybe in July for their big 4th of July show, wouldn't be shocked in the least.
Would be silly to tie your money up in a -250 Conor bet here. Dog or pass, because Nate +190 would be ok value.

Scal do you think that No Love can be the one to dethrone Cruz tonight? All it takes is one clean shot and Cody has the kind of power to take out anybody in this division. I'm tired of Cruz running around talkin' $hit. Dude took a 3 year layoff and still talks like he's the best thing since sliced bread. I hope Cody can knock him out tonight.
