I'm liking Va Tech +3.5 tonight for only this reason - Harbaugh's impending departure and how hard will his players go for him tonight?

With the way Edsall left UConn Saturday, I believe the Cardinal players are probably thinking JH is fully capable of pulling a similar stunt; so why put out for someone who's leaving? For the past week or more, Harbaugh has been the focus of so many job vacancies and the one thing that has been consistent is he has yet to step up and deny any rumors.

Therefore, if I'm a player, I have to be thinking, "why bother if this guy isn't going to be here?" Win one for the Harbaugh? NFW.

why are ppl questioning if these players will play hard cuz harbough is probably leaving?

 did u forget almost all their starters are seniors and juniors? they are going to want to go out on top lol. they, like harbough will be gone next also...

 

that being said, i'm taking stanford. tyrod is good, but hes not great.  luck will drive down the field with ease.  stanford will be motivated to win- dominate- and go out on top. vtech too many suspension- not focused.

True, the rumors of Harbaugh potentially leaving after the game is never a good thing. The question is whether or not going out on top matters. 

And apparently people forget that the players don't just play for their coach but also for themselves and the team. They might never play in another BCS bowl so as long as the game plan is still solid, they'll play hard!

Now that it's Stanford -3.5 the value is gone, I do believe in a Stanford victory but laying 3.5 is just too much. Va Tech will keep it close and probably cover.

I always like rooting for VT but not tonight.  Stanford is the play.  Their O-line is dominant, giving up 5 sacks all year compared with 26 for VT. 

Stanford game -3.5 - one unit
Stanford first half -1.5 - one unit
Stanfordgame -3.5 + Over 58.5 - one unit parlay

I am going to roll with the Cardinal. But my book does not open till 7pm, will see where the line is then, anything over 4 and maybe not.
Maybe will take the over as well, any thoughts on the totals?

Va tech has not seen a team like this. If tech falls behind early it will be a long long nite.

took -3 for game a few weeks ago... just added the 1st half play at even odds (+100)
