thats cause u only offer guys that anyone would get rid of to get a superstar....  u toss in like 2-3 players that every single manager would part with to get back James..

u do it in every sport.. baseball was Marlyn Byrd in yr 1 and Quentin was involved in every offer u sent this yr so go pound sand buddy..

I probably got killed on that trade, but he explained to me the types of guys I was getting and made it seem like I needed them, hopefully it works out? I needed depth, my team sucks ass

And to manram and PSM, I really liked your deals alot, but I don't know? Like I said in the earlier post I made, I don't know too much about basketball and am learning, sparky used that to his advantage when he pretty much gave me a 1 page rundown on each trade he sent explaining it :)

Im sorry but that trade is not going through without a vote. On top of it not only being a 1st rounder for a bunch free agents Thorton is hurt on top of that. Then Dalembert on top of it. Sorry Bluejays but you are a idiot for doing this. 


I OFFERED RONDO AND DAVID WEST FOR JUST PAUL  and you accept Andre Miller a backup point gaurd, Spencer Hawes a free agent pickup and Marcus Thorton who is hurt.

In fairness to the league this trade was made with someone who has no idea about NBA basketball who admitted it himself. If everyone agrees that it should go through so be it. Everyone knows my opinions on trades but as commish i need to be fair.

Look at it this way.

Thornton was a top 20 player before he got hurt. And his injury is a bruised thigh so today will be his last missed game one would imagine. He'll average 20 points and be a top 10 player in 3's by seasons end.

Spencer Hawes was a top 20 player as well until he missed a few games because of his back. But it was even said that he could have played if he was needed but they just gave him to extra rest, as many teams will do to a ton of players. He's been an automatic double double guy with blocks and a high FG% this season

Then Andre Miller may not be starting...but he's the PG for the second unit and even when he's on the floor with Lawson he controls the offense when the team is playing conservative because he's a true PG. Averaging around 6 assists per game is solid for a guy who doesn't start. Plus he's a solid source for steals.

And Thornton and Hawes are in no danger of losing their jobs. Nobody starting for them while they missed time really stepped up and surpassed them.

Funny too how you want to bust my balls about Reddick and Jefferson who are free agent guys doing extemely well who cant keep it up but then i know you will come in here defending spencer hawes . Cant wait to hear it.

So the fact that HE offered ME the deal means nothing?

And did you really just say Hawes was a free agent pickup as if that means anything? Because he's a big name means he's not a good fantasy asset? Serge Ibaka isn't a big name but he's a solid fantasy player. He does a bit of everything and doesn't hurt your team.

And that's awesome...go to a vote. I'm sure everyone will be dying to vote it through seeing that he had a full trade box an hour ago.

I said nothing about Jefferson. Hell...DWill was yours if you wanted to offer Rondo and Jefferson.

But Reddick is a free agent player. He's like Daniel Gibson or Kyle Korver. A 3 agent specialist who will also help you with FT%. Just like Nate Robinson only Nate will give you more assists and steals.

At least Spencer Hawes has maintained his value.


My initial offer was Boozer instead of Hawes. HE countered and preferred Hawes.

So if this is like David Stern turning down the deal with the Lakers because they "didn't give enough". I'll be glad to give Boozer as the bigger name because Hawes offers me more.

ALSO...I offered Thornton and Boozer for CP3 straight up and he declined that one, stuck with the 3-2 then changed Boozer out for Hawes.

I'm sorry for going off like this but you guys ragged on me for getting James Harden because "he's a bench player" and he doesn't have the big name appeal.

Now Spencer Hawes doesn't have the big name appeal either and it's being questioned. You ALL know that if you saw Boozer's name there it would be far more fair because he's Carlos Boozer.

Not to mention Spencer Hawes has outperformed David West while Thornton has outranked Rondo (especially since Rondo's scoring seemed to be just a product of the loss of Pierce).

Dante im sorry but when i see stupid shit i say something. If you are about to trade your best player and #3 player picked in the draft you need to come on here and make sure you are getting the best deal possible. I dont understand why i have to come on here and say this after every trade is made. IF im about to deal one of my best players and have multiple offers you bet your ass im on here saying every single offer i have gotten making people bid against each other.

Yeah I here what your saying manram... Maybe I shouldn't be making trades like this right away? Im really trying to get a handle on this NBA...was it really that bad of a trade? I dont know any of the guys involved, just Paul....and I trust sparky when he tells me the deal is good. I don't know what to say, if this trade goes to vote I understand....it's just sparky will be real pissed, and yeah in hindsight I really did like your west and rondo deal, I don't k ow what's gonna happen..I just hope it works out for everyone

Let me rephrase. As long as their is no uproar from the league. No chance though im letting a injured player go through on a trade. It could come out in a couple days he is out for a month. Same reason why you cant trade injured players in real sports in the same reason i am waiting for him to get back on the court.

Sparky you could offer all 3 of those guys its still not a fair trade. Boozer Hawes is doesnt matter.
