Why would you risk 90 minute pick instead of all 4+ units on advance?

Its a nickel difference?

I have no idea why they dont do this.

It is by design. So if it goes to ET, I only have half as much in play - half of my bet gets taken off the table at 90 minutes.

I look for them to bomb the right side of the Swiss (Swedens left attacking flank) all game with success.But all things point me to Sweden in this one. Big bet for me. I can see it being a low scoring draw, and Sweden going out on PKs, but I don't see them losing in normal play.Sweden PK +110 (90 minutes) (2.5 units to win 2.75)Sweden to advance +105 (2.5 units to win 2.625)Predicted final score Sweden 1-0

Honestly, 9 out of 10 matches so far have moved against me before gametime. As I posted in the first post of this thread - the lines I post are not the lines I get, or you might get - but the widely available American facing book lines at time of posting.

So for instance, I put my bets in about 5 minutes ago and got +127 for 90 minutes and +116 to advance.

I don't like the way Sweden played in that first half at all.

Passes are not accurate, cant string more than a few together, and no creativity in the midfield. They cant sit back and play defense the whole game.

Hope they switch up tactics at HT.

He had a terrible half. On both sides of the field. When he defends, he drops his man so easily - on Switzerlands best chance (Dzemaili over the bar after a give and go) Berg just stood and watched as Dzemaili ran right past him to receive the pass.

I made the same note that the passing in their own half has been pretty poor. Going forward, it probably doesn't matter because if they do get through because they'll be outclassed and playing protect-the-house soccer. But unimpressive in the first half.

And yet, they still had the best opportunity and should be up 1-0...

Not what I expected at all from Sweden, but I will take the win.

The goal was so lucky - it was a dribbled shot right at the GK that he had covered - but the defender helped us out.

No midfield play at all for Sweden. Defend, and then counter - skip right through midfield. This will cost them in the next match. Their weakness is the lack of a playmaker who wants to pick the ball up deep and direct traffic - they just don't have it.

Happy to win, but don't get me wrong, at about the 60th minute mark I was asking myself why I had so much money on a team that couldn't complete simple passes.

I do think that the absence of the defenders made a difference. And I got the score right. Just got there in a different way than I anticipated.
