I feel terrible for Massa, lost a championship in the last turn, damn near gets killed at Hungary, and gets blown out by his teammate for like what 5 years now. Look for Williams to maybe move him this year!!!

First race in 86 races Alonso retires because of an engine.
Another penalty for Magnussen...again when he's trying to race and protect his position. Are the F1 rule makers bored? Everytime there's contact doesn't mean it's a penalty. These rules guys think they have to make penalties on everything to justify their existence. Awful.

Good for Massa, I gave him the kiss of life!!! Hey Alan you think magnus has the grosjean syndrome from a few years ago??? Run into people or run them off the road, then the next year be a front runner!!!

I like the way Magnussen drives. I think he's getting penalized because he's not a big name yet. If Vettel or Alonso or Hamilton would've done that move there would've been no penalty. I think he could be really good next year, but I have him third best in the young driver category behind Ricciardo and Bottas. He's got improving to do, but he's heading in the right direction.

Got a real good feeling Alonso will be leaving Ferrari!!! I think he'll go back to McLaren and the Honda engine. Ferrari will keep Kimi and go get hulkenberg or promote Bianchi. Don't get me wrong Alonso is the best driver out their but since Monty stepped down I think he rolls out as well!!!

I've said for years I think he's the best driver in F1, and he has to be frustrated that his car isn't up to par with the other ones. No doubt he explores other options.

Being a Ferrari guy it makes me sick that Alonso never even had the 2nd best car on the grid. Always out drove his teammate and the rest of the field not named Vettel!!!

Didn't do a writeup on this weeks F1 race in Singapore as I'm not making any early plays for the rest of the season, and I'm just waiting for the late plays.
Singapore is not normally an exciting race, but visually it's amazing because it's run at night. It will start at 8 eastern time so if you guys are up, it's worth checking in just to see the night race. Really colorful and cool.
It's got the most turns of any track, and that makes it a slow race. In F1 there is a 2 hour time limit (maybe MLB should consider something like this), but I don't think they get it finished in under 2 hours this year. Too much competition after the Mercedes so there will probably be a wreck or two, and rain is always a possibility. Passing is hard, so if anyone is going to make a move it's going to take some guts and a really good car. I only see guys like Ricciardo, Magnussen, Alonso and Rosberg/Hamilton having a chance to make big moves. Four out of 6 winners here have come from the pole, so that's why Hamilton is -145 to win since he's on the pole. I won't be taking that, but I'll definitely have some plays later.

It's that time of year in F1 where you're gonna have to lay major juice, but if you're a fan of betting F1 you understand that.
Alonso top 6 -300
Bottas top 10 -350
Button top 10 -185 (Fun fact most F1 bettors don't know: Jenson Button has 7 top ten finishes out of the last 8 races). Could be the new Hulkenberg bet.
I'll see if I can find some more when matchups are posted.

Couple of plays for me to start off with.

Rosberg is having electrical issues in the pits right now before the race. Going to put a very small amount on Rosberg to be first car to retire at +2700...

My book just paid Mercedes first to retire and Caterham wa on the list. You should be golden.
Sweet!!! I went back and looked at other races and if a driver doesn't start he isn't considered a retirement so there definitely is precedent for this. Wow what a nice hit at +2700

Unbelievable. I went from having the best F1 race I've ever had to barely turning a profit with Bottas having that flat in the last few turns. Lost the top 10 bet with him and the Kimi bet. So f*cking pissed off.

Yeah, that sure looks like the first domino. Alonso to McClaren, Vettel to Ferrari, Kyvat promoted to Red Bull. I still think Hulkenberg and Grosjean are likely candidates to move soon. Hopefully both of them moving up in quality of cars.
