I too got screwed by BetUs and have since stayed away from their site. I have used Sportsbook for years and can say they have been very quick paying out. I have made 3 withdrawals this football season all for over $1000 and the longest ive waited is 10 days(they sent a check). This past week I made a withdrawal on Tuesday and the Check was here Friday. I"ve never been paid that fast. The only problem is explaining to the bankers where I got this check from(since its from a Canandian bank they suspect its a fraudulent check). All three have cleared.
Please share the details of how you got screwed.Did they just not pay you? Stall you for months before finally paying you? Send you a bad check? Three figures , four figures, How long ago? Thanks.

Mine was actually back in 2007. Very small payout($200). At the time they offered payments by Electronic Check. They had all my information on file and I never received the payment. They told me the standard wait time was 10 days. After 3 weeks nothing. They kept saying end of the week. After 3 months of waiting they said new US Gaming Regulations caused the delay and they had to check with their Payout Department, a month later it was the Processing Department. They gave me the name of my Account Manager but when I called he was never in the office. Finally they said they'd send a Moneygram and gave me the Senders name and # only when I went to pick it up there was no record of it. That to me seems like an awful lot of hassle for as small a payout.

I really wish I would have had this information a month ago before I deposited. Nothing again today, but still within the 10 day time frame they gave me. At this point, I fully expect them to screw me over.

Crown asked for $1400 on the 16th.

Crown - If I can ask, how much are you looking at getting paid?
To be exact, it was 1420. I have another 450 in there now and won't touch it until I get this payout. I won a couple 100 on football last weekend, but it felt like I was playing with play money. I'm still within the 10 days, so I'm not going to complain. All the stories I've read has given me little to hope for, but I hope I'm wrong! I hope you get yours someday 3%!

I have no doubt that you will actually be paid Crown. The only question in your case is when. So hang in there. I will most likely get mine as well. Well maybe not me after all the complaining I'm doing here.
It still does not change what I am really pissed off about, the lies and the deliberate misdirection, the lack of knowledgeable answers, and a general dis-concern they show towards what I believe to be a large quantity of their patrons.
Bottom line....if no one was going to be paid until the first week of January for example, they should of just told you that in the second week of December. They knew it already. They have a rush on payouts every year around Christmas.
What pisses me off the most is how they are instructed tell you what you want to hear, to an extent, just to get you off the phone, knowing damn well you will just be disappointed the following week.
That along with the constant "processor" excuse. Even if the hold ups really are a result of the processor (and I don't believe it for a second) They chose the processor, so whatever hassle is allegedly caused by the processor is their responsibility in the end no matter how hard they try to make us think otherwise.

Also, I would like to take a moment thank the good people at Covers for simply changing the title of this thread instead of moving it to an area where it may not reach as many people or killing it all together.
So, Thank You.

I agree 3%. I don't like being lied to, but I can't say for sure that the people we talk to KNOW we aren't going to get paid. I actually believe they are as much in the dark as we are, but I could be completely wrong on this. They seem concerned and sincere on the phone and they will give you their extension to call back if it doesn't go in, which I wouldn't think they would do if they KNEW it wasn't going to go in. Once again, I could be wrong on this. I know very little about this company other than what I've read on forums, which has been mostly negative. Their D rating on SBR leaves a lot of room for concern as well.
Do you believe that they only pay when they have profitable days? Do you think that maybe they have intentions to pay us on the day they promise, but when that day comes around, the funds aren't there to distribute?? I've read of bounced checks, which would explain why they went to the direct debit method. Now they can be sure the funds are in there when they send them.

I believe they pay when they can. As a business owner myself I can say for certain the only reason I would be late making a payment of any kind for anything would simply be because I did not have the money. Can't think of another reason. I'm not perfect either, I have been in that situation in my earlier days.
For them, I can think of 3 reasons that could happen. First, they are not doing enough volume. This is not likely, it's a global market. They spend too much money on advertising and marketing and I'm sure it's generating plenty of new fish. Second, too many people are winning and not enough are loosing. It's safe to say that's not the case either. Third, the owners are taking too much off the top. That is usually the case in a failing enterprise of any size or structure. Look at Enron for example.
There is no way they would admit to any of those being the case if that is indeed the way it is. We can only assume they have questionable financial strength. They are be unable to say "Hey, we want to pay you, we are going to pay, we just don't have it right now." That's why all the bullshit. Personally I would rather hear the truth. That sounds a lot better than " Hey we"re having a great year, profits are up and we"re growing fast, but we are still not going to pay people when we are supposed to."
There has to be a forecast, some method of projecting what the income is going to be. It's safe to say either that forecast has been off recently, or they are just spending too much money. I know the bosses got their money. I know the employees are getting paid when they are supposed to. I see the advertising dollars being spent.
There is no question about the direct credit thing. I posted something similar to that a while back. No bad checks being sent means no trace of financial instability.

Crownroyal don't pay any attention to the SBR rating I have used a dozen different books and SBG global is in my top two and they recieved a D- at SBR which also gives 5dimes an A+ what a joke!!! Played with Betus you will eventually get paid for they are notoriuos for slow payouts.

You have to wait until the 4th at best. When they tell me " No one is getting paid until the 4th" My feeling is that some of us may get results by the 11th or maybe the 12th.

Well I called again this morning and Brooke tells me that I need to send a bank statement showing it hasn't deposited yet. He said it must have went somewhere, but they don't know where. Unbelievable! I'm so mad right now I could f'n scream! Sent it to them PDF format, so now it will be awhile I'm sure. I hate BETUS!

Sorry Crown. Next they will tell you that the payout was part of entire batch that got delayed somehow by the processor. And even though you prove to them that you did not get the money by sending in your bank statement, there will still be several days or maybe even weeks before they put it back into your account. Then you can start the process all over again.
" It must have went somewhere", that's classic. Maybe they presume that we are all stupid because we made deposits there and that's why they treat us as such.

Update....After more than 30 days of I guess traveling around the planet, or wherever the lost money goes,it has been returned to my account. Now I can start the process all over again. I'm curious to see how long it will take this time. Will I be the victim of yet another fluke mistake? Twice in a row? What are the odds of that happening if it is such an uncommon event to begin with? Will it be 7 to 10 days? Maybe it will be very quick in an effort to quell my droll complaining. Only time will tell.
No matter what transpires this time around, nothing will change the fact that these situations, no matter how they arise should be handled differently on a customer service level. For starters, once they have received satisfactory documentation that the money never did arrive to the "customer" it should be immediately returned to the customers account. From there all it would take is an honest estimate of how long it's going to take to resolve the situation.

F these jokers. I gave them a little trial run over the last three weeks and they never honored my bonus, even with the rollover requirement. They've never honored any referral bonuses either. They said that a representative named "Truman" f'd up my deposit request and has since been removed from the company. Yeah, that really inspires confidence. Only problem is that a second agent reconfirmed my bonus and it was still not honored.
Don't deal with these criminals. Now that I've been screwed I've been reading negative feedback all over the Internet. Wish I had done a little more research.
