Now, this situation is people who feel their rights and freedoms of being legitimate and legal American citizens are being infringed upon by the Government, so they "occupied" an empty "government" (wildlife refuge) building to probably more make a statement than for any other reason. Yes, they're a bunch of yokels and much like Cousin Eddie in Christmas Vacation, their hearts are bigger than their brains....

Now, you're going to compare that with a cult of thousands whose prime directive is to disrupt the Western Civilization (including you, jacka$$) by suicide bombing innocent civilians in schools, stadiums, trains, planes, basically anywhere there's a crowd of people?

Really? These two look the same to you?

Finally somebody mentioned the brutal savagery of the British Empire. They stole, plundered, shot, pillaged, enslaved, colonized just about every square mile on earth at one point. Germans finally said enough of these guys, time kick some major arse. Then you called us to come make everything nicey nice again.  
You guys almost poached every wild animal in Africa to extinction as well.

In terms of trying to get media attention these bunch of rednecks have failed miserably, The Saudi Arabia/Iran story has been pissing all over this, The only place i've seen this get attention is twitter. Maybe the Bundy family should get a Muslim to join their terrorist group and the media might give them some air time.

I don't think you understand a single thing about private property rights.  After all, your country still has a Queen.

Before you think that the US government will give these guys a pass, you should google Branch Davidians, Waco Texas.  After that google Ruby Ridge.  Check out the body counts.

These guys in Oregon are taking a hell of a chance in this day and age.  If I was them, I would walk and hit the media circuit. Maybe write a book.

Waco was one of the darkest and saddest days of the 20th century. Men, women and little children were shot and burned to death. The men behind those walls in Oregon are going to do some serious hard time behind bars the moment they surrender, and rightfully so. 
Do not allow this to escalate any further.

They are requesting that others join them on the property in their cause. They are armed by admission and openly willing to engage law enforcement. Innocent lives could be lost, law enforcement lives could be lost.
This is domestic terrorism and violent irrational behavior - 100%.If you think otherwise your not thinking at all. These adults are dangerous and potentially violent....Children cannot even go to school in the area.

I (we) don't like a million things about the Fed govt but I don't grab my gun and create a siege. Bunch of selfish hicks that are no longer law abiding citizens. I feel sorry for their children and families that won't see daddy for 5 - 10 years.
