sadly enough, this kind of thing no longer meets the high standards of crazy necessary for recognition in this thread.  i know my readers expect more, and usually get it. 

but it seems like there are a good number of these churches.  has anyone ever been to one.  i'd love to know what goes in there on a regular basis.

silly ktrain, troubled by widespread, massive, systemic, continuous, unchecked, unrestricted, epidemic, comprehensive raping of children.  didn't you hear the southern rightwing politicians this week.  the world is going to end because two adults of the same sex can marry each other now.

I can vouch for club here. We have different beliefs but never bashing. Its amazing that when somewhat intelligent people, regardless of beliefs discuss something that some good can come from it. Its pretty much the opposite of conversing with Scal.  Carry on CD

A belief in the afterlife gives us hope that eternal happiness awaits all who perish from this sin riddled world that we live in. There is no quick fix on Earth, but decent human beings can help comfort the scarred victims while we await paradise. But how many are willing to help ?

I'm not from Tennessee, but kansas which is at least as bad maybe worse--they were always right of center but since Brownback and "religious right" nuts have taken over they have gone over the edge--You may remember Bill O'Rieely constantly talking about "tiller the baby killer" an abortion doc there in Wichita--got some nut to shoot the man in a church no less--I live in Reno Nv now where the righty nuttiness isnt so bad or at least is leveled out by cooler, more sensible folk--but I do have a good friend here who claims to be christian but keeps going on hate-filled tirades and rants against everyone else, condemning people to hell-which I tried to remind him was Gods right not his--but I can't and dont argue with him, hes positive hes right so there'd be no point

I guess I missed the part about this thread being about public schools. I suggest starting a thread about sexual misconduct in public schools. When you post examples, don't forget to include all the 30 year old female teachers sleeping with 13-16 year old boys, which I'm sure is consensual on both sides. Then we can count how many posters show up to say that they wish they had teachers like that when they were in school. 

I'm still waiting to see how many posters wish they had priests take advantage of them sexually when they were alter boys. I have yet to see any posts like that.
