But it is..spaghetti is made of matter...end of story
You just haven't opened your heart to the spaghetti monster. You have to listen carefully, he will talk to you...I know, I have had personal experiences with him...

In the absence of love, what is moral? Furthermore, why think we have any moral duties int he absence of God? Who imposes these duties on us?
In the absence of God, morality is merely subjective, each and everyone of us decides what is moral, whether it is Hitler, Stalin, Mother Theresa, Al Qada or ISIS.
Furthermore, if they are subjective, there is no such thing as right or wrong morally. If i come in to your house and butcher you and your family, i havent done anything wrong, it might be undesirable or unpleasant, but not wrong as right or wrong ONLY exist in relation to facts. If moral facts dont exist (moral facts can only exist and be grounded in God) then there is no right or wrong.
The irony in all this is, all atheists scream and shout that morality is subjective, yet when a moral issue arises, they scream and shout that those actions are wrong.
Ask yourself, when you see someone eat a food that you dont like, do you scream and shout and be outraged that what they are doing is wrong? Of course not, because you realise taste in food is subjective. If morality is also subjective , then why do you scream and shout and be outraged at moral acts such as racism, murder, rape?

Still no proof of your god, so what you say is pointless...

I dont need to...you guys already that.
Everytime a moral issue arises, ie, racism, rape, murder you immediately make a claim that those acts are wrong...not undesirable, not unpleasant, but WRONG.
Think about the implications of such claims.

Didn't your God murder people in the story of Noah? Didn't he wipe out most of planet? So then murder isn't wrong according to your God.

We do have moral duties without God. They are placed on us with the gift of love. If you choose not to have a God do you choose to be blind and stupid. Morals are not absolutes handed down by God but are subjective things dictacted by society. All societies do not have the same morals ( there are still cultures that still stone people) nor do all Gods have the same morals. Some read the bible and feel it is ok to shoot people who kill babies, that is their interpretation of what they read. Others feel this is wrong.
Morals are controlled by intelligence and love, they are not dictated in the bible. The Bible is not an absolute, it is open to interpretation which means the morals of it are too. Abortion, gays and wealth are all open to way different interpretations in your bible and these are all moral issues. It is up to man and his intelligence to make moral statements.
Each religion and each book for that religion states "trust me, I am the only one" Why should we believe that Christianity is the only one, who knows, maybe the Muslims are right after all?
The idea that morals may only be found in your book is insane, morals are dictated by intelligence and communication and are not absolute but constantly evolving.
Your book is not even absolute, it is wide open to interpretation and there are countless. Many of these interpretations have led to war and other catastrophes.

I honestly admire people who can believe so fully in the bible and Christianity. To me, they have true faith.
Peace on your journey my friend.
I cannot take it.
I cannot take the idea that one religion is right, when each religion claims that.
I cannot take the idea that if we believe we go to heaven but when people are sick we pray for them to get better
I cannot take the idea that the Church is there to help people but they build lavish edifices and turn a blind eye to their own transgressions ( Priests molesting boys) To me, the Church and those of it seem so self-serving
Finally, I cannot take that our society fights and kills mostly with God in mind. God bless us but yet the Muslims state , "praise be Allah" We march out our kind God and they march out theirs and millions of people die in the middle. This is true for so many religions and so many people.
My God is simpler, he is one of love. Love for you. Love for the Muslims and love for humanity. I accept your views and do not need to be right because I can love you for the soul that you are.
That is my God. One of love for all of us and peace for all of us.
Peace-

God doesnt murder. He is the author of life and has the right to remove them from temporal existence. If God exists, such people are still alive....in the after life.

Duties? Please tell me who imposes these on us? Under atheism, morality is merely a man made construct. A game of lets pretend.
Societies? Which societies? Al Qada? ISIS? Nazi Germany?
Upto each man? Which man? Stalin? Hitler? Mao? Pot? Donald Trump?

The people of Isis believe in God. They have a different God from yours but there belief is just as powerful to them as yours is to you, That said, God cannot create morality. Whose God? Why yours? What makes yours the only one? Every civilization has a God and its own morality. Every civil action thinks they and only they know the true God. The radical people of Isis do not for a second believe they are immoral, they see you that way. You have no proof. They have no proof. We all march out our Gods and war ensues . Then we all still believe we are right.

if there is no God, then morality is a merely a man made concept. There is no factual right/wrong morally.
Each person decides himself/herself what is right/wrong. Therefore it becomes incoherent to morally condemn what ISIS do, what AL Qada do, what Hitler and Stalin did.
Also, history has shown that the largest mass murders in human history have been at the hands of NON BELIEVERS.
Religious motivated wars represent a very very small portion of wars with the majority of those represented by Islam.
In terms of proof. As i said above, you guys already do that whenever you make a moral claim ie, racism is wrong murder is wrong etc, you have an intention that those of statements of FACT, not just mere expressions of personal preference thereby affirming theism.
If you dont understand how so then feel free to ask.

The statement attributed to Jesus "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword" has been interpreted by some as a call to arms for Christians.[11]Mark Juergensmeyerargues that "despite its central tenets of love and peace, Christianity—like most traditions—has always had a violent side. The bloody history of the tradition has provided images as disturbing as those provided by Islam or Sikhism, and violent conflict is vividly portrayed in the Bible. This history and these biblical images have provided the raw material for theologically justifying the violence of contemporary Christian groups. For example, attacks on abortion clinics have been viewed not only as assaults on a practice that Christians regard as immoral, but also as skirmishes in a grand confrontation between forces of evil and good that has social and political implications.",[11]:19–20 sometimes referred to as Spiritual warfare.
The Bible is open to many interpretations and does not provide a one-way path for morality. Christians have fought and killed over the bible and have truly believed what they were doing was right. To state, that most wars over religion involve Muslims is to denounce their God and beliefs as inferior, how can you do that? They believe, just like you believe.
It is my point that religions and religious beliefs create conflicts as both religions march out their Gods and their morality based on their books. All religions think only they have the "true God" the true book and the true path to heaven.
Intellectuals realize that not all religions can be right. So if someone is wrong, how do you know it is not you?
How do you know that Jesus is tougher than Allah other than your Church teaches you this?
What proof do you have that billions of Muslims are wrong in their beliefs? How about all the Chinese and Buddhism or the Indians and their Hindu Gods? Christians just seem to be a trifle under-represented on this planet with their God and the person, if their God was so tough, why are there so few of them left?

Why do the Christians align with the person anyways? It seems to me they really have nothing in common. The person flat out deny the Messiah as the savior, to me, this would be a little bit more of a deal breaker?
All cultures have religions. Always. Do Gods make people or do people make Gods, that is really the question you should be asking.

Absolutely nothing like taking a bible quote out of context.
""Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.
Now ask yourself...in the passage you quoted. What was Jesus exactly exactly talking about?

The 3 main monotheistic religions of the world all believe in the same God. The differences in the religions arise from revelation.

The quote is not taken out of context, it is straight from Matthew 10:34
Your quote is relating to when Peter later draws HIS SWORD and Jesus tells him to put it away.
Jesus makes no mention of this in his earlier passage.
You never really answer any questions so here they are again-
1) What makes Christians right and Muslims wrong?
2) What makes Christians right and Buddhists wrong?
3) If morality comes from the bible then why do Christians have such differing views. 50% of Christians believe homosexuality is a sin and 50% believe it is ok. How can you take morality from a book that people do not agree upon. My interpretation is way different from yours on Matt 10:34, why is your right?
4) If Jesus is king, should the bible not be laid out better so we can understand it easily and not have to argue on it?
5) and finally, the question no Christian has ever answered, why do we pray for people to get better and put Christian scientists in jail when those who believe are going to heaven anyways?

Rostos thinks he is the authority on the Bible...lol. He is not very good at answering questions, just repeats the same thing over and over...
