Hank great stuff anyone with a concealed weapons license i think would agree with 99% of what u stated. I dont think we have a civil war coming around the corner but that is another conversation.
But you never pull your weapon without full intentions of pulling the trigger the second you pull your weapon, I carry a Glock 17 Boss ass weapon.
When i first got my last job, one of my bosses lived next door to me, we where smoking weed and chilling and he wanted to see how i spent my time off work. He walked right in my front door and was like HEY...
We talked about drugs and such and when that was behind us, I told him "Never, Ever walk into my home without knocking" He was like why and when i explained that i will shoot first every time he thought i was crazy. I told him i thought he was crazy walking into my home without knocking. I said if i had been sleeping and i heard someone come into my home unannounced.......I would and should shoot first and ask questions later.
Some people dont get what i am saying, but i am ex military and had a weapon/license to carry a concealed since 01. I have never pulled my weapon on anyone and I hope i never do. I am sure that is the case with most responsible gunowners. I am glad i live in Florida, all they have to do is fall dead on my property and i am within my rights.
Only piece i think u left out is obvious. In home protection especially if you may have a woman use the weapon should always be a shotgun. It is great for in home protection....Point shoot bang...
Ask questions later.

Thanks to Kroger and Matt4000 for reassuring me that I'm not the only person on here that believes in protecting my life, property, and bank account. I doubt that these idiots that keep posting the same old shit have anything to protect. Maybe their welfare and unemployment checks. We really should pass a law to drug test these moochers.
funny, because a majority of people on welfare possess guns illegally and do more harm than good..... yep, guns are the answer.
god you are so fucking stupid.

Honestly no need for anyone to be scared of responsible gun owners.
I have carried a weapon and been in fights at same time and never pulled my weapon. I never want to shoot anyone, but there are certain scenarios that i hope i am never in that i will always shoot first.
I mean this i never want to pull my weapon in my life.

and responsible gun owners? I would say that there are maybe 50 percent of gun holders that are responsible...
You have no stats to support this, any person that i know that has gone through the trouble to get one (concealed weapons permit) will be a responsible gun owner.

If you want to own a gun, great. But keep it locked away and only use it when ABSOLUTELY necessary!!! This idiot comes in acting like a psycho saying that if he feels threatened he is going to use it... not only is that illegal, but it is psychotic... you cannot fire a weapon unless you are sure someone else has one. Shooting someone for breaking and entering is actually illegal... if someone breaks into your house according to your logic, you will shoot them. Have fun spending 15 years in prison for that.

Physcotic maybe, but illegal by no means........you have the right to defend yourself all the time every time......
I agree with the everything you said minus keeping it locked up. I carry mine on me. I have no kids tho also, i think if you have children it completely changes the in home rules of gun ownership. I think we prolly agree on most points in this issue tho.

If i am sleeping in my bed and someone comes into my home to steal something. Can i not shoot them if they do not have a gun. What should i do ask them?
No when put in rare and life threatening situations u pull and shoot, it doesnt matter about the other person. They could have a machete so can i not shoot them. Different states have different gun laws but i am almost positive that no where does it say that the other person needs to have a gun for you to shoot them.

dopa - speaking what he feels with a clear head, agree or disagree.
hank - paranoid and dangerous. you would think this guy had an army sent by Obama to kill him at his home, talking about shooting, reloading, and staying on the move

You should use your head. Defend your family with force appropriate to the threat....and that might be deadly force. But to come in here supporting the pyscho and going on with this shoot first ask questions later attitude doesn't help your cause.

I would like to endorse my fist up your arse for acting like a jackoff.
I completely disagree with his political rational but alot of what Hank said is good info for people in general. Even if you have no plans on having a gun, wouldn't you want to know how the people that do own guns think? Know your enemy type Sun Tzu shit.
NRA is one of the most powerful groups in the country.

I am not supporting him, i just agree with alot of his points. I think the way he ties politics into this conversation couldnt be more inappropriate.
I do not think Civil War is right around the corner and i do believe that was one of the first sentences of my original posts.
