LOVE golfing by myself.  I have to talk all day at work and a lot of times I come home and golf with a few people and I enjoy it, but its almost like working more, it's exhausting.


I walk 9 holes at 7pm, I'm the last one on the course.  I can take my sweet ass time.  If I come across a shot that I want to practice I can drop 10 balls if I want to.  Looove it.

Gotta have 1 friend, regardless of how good/bad you are, at least a buddy to laugh w/ you or laugh at them

I shouldn't stay so negative since you also gotta have a buddy to See your tremendous drive/2nd iron shot or putt and also to comp their nice shot(s)....I have learned the "RIGHT" friend matters since laughing at 3 tee's in the water is OK for some, while others are so foolishly serious that they won't speak the rest of the round

Talking shit, accepting shit talking is part of the game, and if you cannot accept your place well maybe you should just play by yourself, otherwise its a fucking game and enjoy life and the game while trying to get better

this is why being a member is good.

I am a member at a club but just no good games. We have a good ABCDE game on the weekends but its for like $50 MAX. Its tough to find a good $10-$20 swing game with like 8-10 guys.  Every once in a while we get a 20-30 wolf game which can get nasty.

wolf is a good game

i like playing for a little dough. not enough to ruin my day if i lose though. $50 front, back, overall is a good number for me.
